Mugster:________________ Ordered 500 of these yesterday from Midway. Thanks for the info; you confirmed my thinking on the "lighter" 223 bullets. We always had very good accuracy with the 52 to 55 grain bullets in our old 223 bolt gun. Thanks again for the info. I'm busy prepping brass now. Will order a factory crimp die for the 223 shortly; as we never used one on the bolt gun (loaded single shot; heavy gun anyway, no recoil). We'll start looking at the heavier 223 bullets (say 75 grain hornady) if they will work thru the magazine. Again, many thanks for sharing your experience. Kind regards, LEROY

Congratulations!! Been wanting one of these myself; been doing a pretty good job of resisting --- up to now anyway. They are, indeed, a great thing. Always remember when you pick it up and shoot it; the 1911 was the only ACCEPTABLE REPLACEMENT for the greatest gun that ever was; the Colt Single Action Army. I think you are exactly right. The beginning of dealing with everything, both here and abroad, is to quit this runaway spending and give away of "largesse" to every no count constitutent group in the usa and abroad, the easing of regulation and taxation on the private sector to allow for economic growth, and the teaching of the idea that capitalism is good. If we don't grasp this truth, the country will be reduced to third world status econnomically. The way to handle foreign relations is to stand by our friends and strike our enemies. As Popeye would say: "Say what we mean and mean what we say." That means we need to carefully think thru what we decide to do it. It also means to finish what we start. The two abovelisted things are easy to say; but for some reason, hard to accomplish when our neighbors move from next door to become polititians in Washington. That is why it is vitaly important to know the character of those who are sent to the state house to represent us. When you think thru the situation in america today, it's easy to come to the conclusion that about 3/4's of the state house and congress needs to be swept out. Got the same powder measure -- been using it 30 years or so. Have seen this a few times before. USMCJG's cleaning sugguestion is great, along with the baffle sugguestion. Make sure you lock down the lock nut on the metering screw firmly when you set the measure. Also, keep a close eye on the "head" of powder in the powder reservoir. Try to keep it in the middle third of the measure if you can. Hope this helps. Kind regards, LEROY

Brandon makes a great point. Tennessee newspapers are braying about this and sitirring it up because they are socialist in their worldview and owned by large holding companies and families who are East Coast liberals, not Tennesseeans; all married to the socialist utopia anti-American dream crowd espoused by the Dems at this point in history. The newspapers make lots of noise about this because it's a propoganda issue to them. The newspapers partner with the minority fringe groups to take up these idiotic causes with disgusting regularity because it is a political jihad with the most of them. That allows the minority view to have a perceived "giant magaphone" and makes their view an imagined majority status. It's an old trick" "yell loud and often, you may be percieved as the majority." They also lead the childish along who dont know what their rights are; or worse still, dont care. The newspaper presumes to take the "high ground" on every issue and lead the childish along -- they have been doing this as long as newspapers have been around. Never expect the newspapers to do the right thing -- their worldview simply wont allow it to happen. The best way to get even with them is to quit trading with them, and starve them to death. I started doing my part a long time ago. I also believe that in the citidels of lunacy like Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis, and sometimes Chattanooga; the usual crowd: the socialists, the anti-Americans, the non-thinkers, hippies, peacenicks, gutter trash, ect. ect.-- are easily lead around by local demigogues (read that local polititians) -- mostly in city government; and that's exactly what's going on with the gun carry issue. It's all being done by folks to garner votes from their individual constitutiencies. The only way to counter this is by becoming active in your local political sphere. That's exactly what has happened on the state level and exactly why gun rights are being restored in TN. Let's keep up the good work and hold those who say and do these idiotic things accountable at the voting booth. There will be voting precincts where our beliefs will never be accepted; but we need to keep working on them. There are other precincts where we can and have made great strides. Political activism is the most important thing we who honor the Constitution and the Bill of Rights can be involved in right now' because of the great assault on them. I think you are exactly right. I believe they (the hebrew children) will take out the Iranian nuke production facilities similarly to what they did with Iraq. My guess is that they will use some neat bunker busting nukes to do it -- lots of kaboom in a compact package --.
