  1. M&P 2.0 Compact 9mm. The safety will have to go but it was a good deal so I'll get the frame plugs and remove it. The trigger ins't quite as good as my TP9SF, but the grip feels better. Now for an IWB holster, Ameriglow CAP sights, and some spare mags...

    That's satisfaction!
  3. Not to hijack the thread but you do find kindness and good people in times of need. I was at the transfer station today and two young men helped me unload my truck. I didnt ask them they just did it. Ive been having back issues and appreciated it a lot. There is a chance for mankind for sure. Bersa I know that my dogs make me a better person. It's great how they can do that to us..
  4. The prosecution screwed up royaly. Possibly on purpose. The weapon discharged three times as I understand it. He is a felon in possession of a stolen weapon. He fled the scene of the crime, and I'm sure several more I don't believe in double jeapordy for the same crime, but there are several federal statutes that he wasn't charged, or tried on. I hope he is crushed by the full weight of any federal statutes that apply. The state, county, city, etc should cease to receive ANY federal funds for any reason immediately. The state, county & city may also be in violation of federal law and subject to prosecution. I hope so.....
  5. I already have one! I do like it a lot. I pulled the trigger (so to speak) on the M&P today. I should have it mid week. Thanks to everyone that responded.

Some people were just made to be dog owners. You can tell who they are because their dogs clearly approve of them! Best of luck with your new pal
  7. I'm interested to know as well...
  8. I've read David's Review of the P10C, and I think I remember it being sold here. I was never a fan of the first generation M&P it's not bad, but it didn't push my buttons. The 2.0 seems a big step forward. I thought that I'd throw it out here to see if anyone has shot both, or made a direct comparison.
  9. Mea culpa I stand corrected, but you did get the idea...
  10. I've got the new pistol bug... Has anyone here handled or better yet shot both the S&W M&P 9C 2.0 and tge CZ P-10C? I haven't laid hands on the CZ yet, but the M&P 2.0 seems to be a significant improvement Thanks for your help.
  11. I'm thankful that today I can walk upright today! First time in 10 days.
  12. I learned today that I won't need back surgery. I'm thankful that I didn't damage something to the point of needing repair. All I need is a bit of time and rest. I'm thankful that I can heal and that my wife is patient enough to put up with me! I'm also thankful for TGO while I have only met a few other members you all are helping me stay sane while laid up.
  13. I saw this story at Bearing arms. https://bearingarms.com/tom-k/2017/11/22/video-men-brandishing-gun-mall-leads-id/ It sure woould have made me take cover. I'm surprised it didnt make national news. This is the sort of thing they would eat up.
  14. I'll give it a shot. I'm thankful for the positive changes in my life over the past few years. Grown up healthy responsible kids, a happy wife, good work and a new community. Any challenges I met along the way to get to this point are trivial compared to how happy I have becme in the last 5 years. Happy Thanksgiving!
  15. At the end his point is that individuals can't be trusted... I agree I don't trust a stranger I'll keep my eye on them untill Im sure of the situation. This doesn't mean I'm afraid of them, just aware. He wants to live in the fantasy world where everyone is trustworthy and safe because they have been neutered. I suggest he move to where ever awful place that is and leave us alone... I'm glad he's no longer in the service. Those that serve in our military shouldn't have the burden of carrying his weight.
  16. I have seriously thought about one of these. I hope to get my shop up and running again this winter. Looking forward to seeing your progress!
  17. Im going to suggest Blantons, Willets Reserve, Woodford Reserve double oak, or Noahs Mill. all should be under $100.00 for a 750ml. for me all of these are quite nice. spending more doesnt mean its better...
  18. Forks on the tractor loader make it a one handed job.... I'm not worried about putting it in a car luckily i can use it in the yard. Work smarter not harder!
  19. I believe quite a bit. He's closely associated with Masad Ayoob. He's worked on many high profile cases either as defense, or consultant. I think for George Zimmerman and others that I can't recall right now.
  20. Bought an almost new champion trap from a guy that said it was "busted" it kept breaking clays. Spent ten minutes making adjustments and it works perfectly. I mounted it on a pallet to make it easy to move with the battery etc. Maybe I'll have time to see how I do against it tomorrow...
  21. Look into the brass threaded repair pins from brownies. Simple tools cordless drill, some epoxy colored with sanding dust and they can be very strong! They have some videos on it. Depending on the crack it may be the strongest repair available.
  22. We had great luck in East TN. It took a while and we looked at nearly 100 properties but wound up with 20+ acres that most of it is useable, but met out other requirements too. Mostly isolation, no view, solid but not fancy house. I can shoot 100 yds at home and pistor and shotgun as well. I'm not far from Pineville, and Dayton and 1 hr from Chattanooga. I never fiel at a lose for anything i need. Eadt TN jas very low unemployment now 3-4%. Pikeville and dayton will be adding new manufacturing in thr next 2 years for another 1500 jobs. Opportunity is here for those that work rather than gripe... Renting is an option, I know that Keven here on the forum has done just that and hopes to be in his new home soon outside of Knoxville. Best of luck!
  23. There are lots of ways to "carry" something like this. I can think of several courier bags, or sling bags that would be perfect. Would it be my choice for a primary carry weapon? That would depend on the situation and how much time I had to deploy it. Probably not a good candidate for IWB or pocket carry, just have to think outside of the box...
  24. I have 2 P320's and none of the others. I've tried them all and used to own glocks back in gen1 gen2 days. I don't shoot them very well. Ymmv. My opinion is try them all and buy what you like. They're all quality guns. I like the modularity of the P320 and the trigger is very good.
  25. looks like a Beeman P1 pellet pistol.
