    Coolers

I was looking/considering an RTIC, but an empty mid size one weighs 25#, meh. I use Igloo Marine ones and throw a 1 or 2 liter frozen bottle in with the ice and the ice stays for a couple days, Good enough for me.
  2. Look at the Humminbird Helix, 5/7/9 if you are just wanting 2d, you can get 2d/DI/GPS is desired, but the cost goes up. To be able to see your jig or bait on the screen and it's movement, along with a fish moving towards it you will need to adjust the sensitivity (increase) while out on the water. You may have to adjust it everytime depending on water conditions. You will only be able to see this situation when drop shoting/jigging in a stationary position. The larger the screen the better the resolution and the ability to see what is on the screen, especially in DS/SI. 2d, not so much. You tube has tons of videos on how to use 'em and set 'em up for different types of fishing.
  3. Cool picture. Hope it doesn't do any damage to your house, etc.
  4. Yeah, I know about the chick, read where there is bass tourney there this weekend. No way would I go out in an attempt to fish on a holiday weekend. Too many "recreational" boaters that really don't need to be out on the water IMO. LOL
  5. Thanks for the info on the Chick, I'm not far from the Chick, road trip. LOL
  6. Some of the comments I've read on other forums indicate they are not to be found on beds in the middle TN area.
  7. One more congrats to the list, know you are proud. Hope she continues to enjoy the sport and spend time with you.

  9. I just googled your motor and added rebuild tilt and trim to it and got a couple hits with youtube videos. It may give you a tip or two to move along with the project. GL
  10. Welcome, I grew up in the Tri-Cities area, good place to live.
  11. Very nice work by both craftsmen.
  12. Oh well, there goes the neighbor.  I'm sure it will be just peachy when every one stops complaining.   :wall:
  13. Be like the guy suing Starbucks for "too much ice"
  14. The aging process is NOT for sissies.  You'll just have to find out what works for you.  A visit to the dr might help provide some insight to the situation with your wrist, and a visit to an eye doctor should help solve the vision issue(s).  Getting some glasses just for shooting may/may not help, cheapo readers may or may not work.   I've worn corrective lenses since I was 13, now staring at 61 pretty hard, tri-focals for the last 5 yrs or so, I bump into small things w/o my glasses.  I can see door frames and such, but not much more.  I don't shoot hang guns much but I didn't have any trouble focusing on the sights/targets about 60 days ago, the last time I shot a handgun (9mm and .22 MKII).  My arms get tired from holding a handgun in the shooting position too, but no "burning sensation" like you mention.     I have noticed lately that I feel like I need higher power scopes on my rifles so I can see the holes in the targets, especially at the 200 yd mark. 100 yd target is ok right now.   I have a cheapo 45x spotting scope, and it is just barely adequate at 200 yds, is it the cheapo part, or that it's only 45x, time will tell when I try out some new spotting scopes sometime in the future.
  15. I picked the  Ruger American 223 20" barrel over the Savage Axis as the Ruger seemed to feel better when shouldering both.  I could not tell much difference in the overall appearance between the 2 stocks, but the ruger definitely felt better to me.
  16.   tires are round without any air
  17. Nice looking setup.
