Animals just taking care of their own. Wife showed me a picture of an elephant carrying a lion cub with it's trunk to a watering hole with the cub's mother walking beside the elephant. All for the good of the lion cub. Stupidity can have a high price tag.

Not particularly fond of sitting on an interstate overpass waiting on the traffic light (Lovell Rd in Knoxville for example) and you can feel the overpass bridge vibrating/bouncing from the other traffic like those 5-10 18 wheelers rolling across. Saw on the news last night that TDOT thinks an over sized load may have hit the bridge and weakened it, and then it finally gave way. No clue on who the over sized load belonged to, and the news clip also stated that traffic cameras cannot be used to investigate if this theory is true or not due to the source of funding for the TDOT cameras.

Bet you could bust a prairie dog with one of those, if you could see the little bugger first. LOL

Sounds like a business plan to capture the attention of future buyers of their products. If all the young snowflakes keeping shooting each other, they won't have any customers to buy their products. JMO

I've got an iclever brand of these jump start batteries. Wife's car was a Cmax hybrid and if it was not driven in 7-10 days it seemed to go into a deep sleep mode or something, it needed to be jumped off. One guy came with one of the iclever brand ones and he said he had already used it to start a couple a 18 wheeler rigs earlier in the week and still had a 75% charge when he showed up for the Cmax. Haven't had to use it as we traded the cmax soon afterwards, but it still holds a good charge after several months of riding around in the trunk.

Do they taste like chicken??? I ran over a snake with a Uhaul truck one time, made a loud pop like a tire blowing out. Snake didn't move after that .

I keep the various solvents in small drip tip bottles that fit well inside a used coffee tub, the coffee tub lid keeps any smells down to a minimum or none. (Wife doesn't complain anyway). Patches are kept in the box along with the fold up Tipton gun cleaning rack. Rods are stored on a small rack over in the corner behind the internet router, jags and brushes in a MTM jag brush in the Tipton box as well. I have a similar set up for the range but everything fits in a soft side range bag the wife gave me except for the cleaning rods. They stay in a 2" pvc pipe with caps for travel protection, no damage in 2 yrs. I use my Bald Eagle front rest and rear bag to hold the gun while at the range. A multi-caliber bore guide fits in the range bag along with solvents in a small plastic coffee tub, the MTM jag box and patches. Has worked well for the past 2 yrs.

Boxers are very protective of their family unit but great family dogs as well.

While I'm no legal beagle, seems like if you have a permit from the City of NY, you could transport the firearm to a gun range w/o issue. JMO.

I've seen some videos of some jetski's set up for fishing, rod holders, the whole 9 yards, try google fu and see what happens. I think they were used for offshore/gulf fishing, maybe even traveled out to the oil rigs. Do you use a fly rod or regular baitcaster/spinning set up ???

HF has some reasonably priced ones, but quality is always suspect there IMO. You take your chances there. Most big box stores have entry level ones with a better warranty.

People may think you are an idiot, but there is no reason to open your mouth and prove it.

Try and find a car forum for your brand/model and see what they say about headlight bulbs. Some work better than others (last longer, etc). With the DRL's, the lights probably last as long in terms of hours but if you drive more during the day, the lights are on since you drive more during the day than at night. JMO. I've read where the DRL, or some of them run at a slightly lower voltage by design, and this may not be good for the bulbs. Different situation I know, but I've got some recessed lights over the garage doors at the house, they have been on 24/7 for almost 14 yrs now and I've never replaced a bulb yet. I do have a dimmer switch on these.

There was one reported in Vonore TN on 12/23 around 2:30pm or so. I live 15 miles from there, didn't feel/hear a thing.
