    BACKUP

I used an index card, hopefully some will remember what those are. LOL
  2. I think it odd that the FBI is now observing things, did they wake up from their nap??? I saw similar warnings about the protests on late night news/opinion shows last night.
  3. Maybe some liquid wrench penatrating solvent or kroil would help loosen up some of the grime and crud. GL with the project.
  4. If you have any of the Ryobi 18v tools, they have a inflator that works decent, I got it to carry in the TT to use as needed. It is a bit slow, but it gets the job done. The plug kits work pretty good as well. GL.
  5. I saw a news clip where the FDA (IIRC) was fining some or all of the distillers who made hand sanitizer during the great shortage of 2020 for some dumb gooberment policy
  6. I have the same one as ken_mays linked to, it's good for 200yds if the lighting conditions are good, mirage is not bad, etc. The splatter type targets that change to ugly green are easier to see, but I use a white background with orange/red diamond are visible as well to me and I've got crappy eyes with several different things going inside them.
  7. I like the way you look at knife making as a hobby, do it when you feel like "doing it" and don't when you don't feel like doing it. That's what makes the tasks of knife making a hobby, not a job. Enjoy your hobby as much as you can, or want to. I like your knives, and have bought 4, with 2 being gifts . I've been told the knives won't be used because they are "too nice" to use. I feel like I gave a good gift, but still hope they will be used so I can get a report on them.
  8. We've got over an inch south of Lenior City, using the reliable index finger as a ruler. Don't plan on going anywhere in the car. Saw a snow plow last night on one of the county roads last night, and a vehicle on the same road just a few minutes ago moving along w/o trouble, so maybe the roads are in decent shape for those that get out today going to grandma's house. Merry Christmas to everyone, stay safe and be well.
  9. The old addage about TN fans will go to any bowl game the Vols qualify for. Why do you think UT was invited to the Citrus Bowl, or any bowl game in FL with a .500 season, or worse for so many years. UT fans will travel to FL in Jan for a bowl game, don't matter the record, etc., going to FL is the main purpose.
  10. I don't think China would engage the US in a war with guns as the cost in human life would be too great for both sides. They will try and conquer the US thru economic and technological means, which the maroons in DC have turned a blind eye to. Businesses want to do business with China because they will make money, but they will lose their soles and technology to China.
  11. TN may have cause in the near future depending on the outcome of the current investigation, which could be one reason there is an investigation to begin with.
  12. ORSA has a skeet and trap leagues, not sure if it's members only or open to the public, but it's a growing sport there. google Oak Ridge Sportsmen Assn in OR TN.
  13. I would not want David's job/responsibility of trying to keep all of the " kids" straight and in our separate corners so to speak when some don't agree on things. Everyone gets a little bit big for their britches at times, and it's usually "dad" or an uncle (the mods) that has to slap someone on the back of the head and tell 'em to shut up and be quiet. TGO is a good place to visit, thanks to all the people who make it so.
  14. Running a business (ANY business) in the current situation has to be very challenging. As soon as they figure out how to get things going, something else changes and that workable plan gets blown out the door.
  15. I've never had a problem with having a CC on file at midway and a few other places. The security code is requested each time an order is placed for security reasons (you still have the card and can provide it) but this info is not accessed/viewed by Midway personnel or the CC personnel. It's done all electronically with no hoomans involved. After the CC being used is validated electronically, the order moves on to the "que" for processing. Kinda like when you use your CC at Krogers or anyplace that takes CC. The clerk does not have access to your CC in most places. You can also download the issuing CC "app" to your phone, and get text messages notifying you of charges at a $ limit you can set in the app. It works as I use on several CC's
  16. I've had 2 boxers, wish they lived longer than they do.
  17. Best wishes, my brother had his 2nd KR this past Jan/Feb, and the other KR 9 yrs ago. GL and hope for a speedy recovery.
  18. I use CapitalOne for savings, or holding $$ I may/may not need for a while, or for the annual tax & insurance bills that come around . You can transfer $$ back and forth with some limits, but I set up accts for RE taxes, house & car insurance, FIT taxes, etc., so I never run into the transfer limitations. Their website indicates they are paying 0.40% for savings accts, which is better than most CD's at this time.
  19. Just out of curiosity, how much time do you DIY day traders devote to this on a daily basis?? What system /company/platform do you guys use or prefer?? I'm too conservative, possibly lazy , and not willing to keep up with the market. It changes or reacts to the slightest news (good or bad) too much for me. I'm in the "buy & hold" quality stocks for the long term camp, so I"m curious.
  20. I have a FA dry media tumbler, works good, no complaints but I also have the FA wet tumblers, cleaner brass IMO. Depends on your needs or desires. The dry tumbler does not get used much anymore.
  21. Hope the window don't break, and that "thing" is just FUGLY.
  22. Watched it as well. Would love to have been able to see the launch from up close. I saw a early morning space shuttle launch when I lived in Orlando from my driveway. Lit up the entire horizion when they lit the fuse. I wonder what the lunar landing vehicle will look like coming from SpaceX now. A modified Telsa with antennas and hollow wire wheels???
  23. Just start accumulating the items needed like a press, dies, powder, etc., as opportunities present themselves. I pick up components when I see them, whether I need them or not, as a "just in case" there is another shortage. I can load up rounds for every caliber I've got but not like I did a year ago. I think a bit more about the end goal/results a bit more now since components are harder to find, but I still go to the range 2x/week for the most part. Reloading is also something to do on rainy days during the summer, or those crappy winter days when you don't want/need to get out, you have something do if you so desire.
  24. Just saw on Ch. 6 in Knoxville that WM has reversed this policy of removing guns from display during civil unrest, so do that mean WM supports civil unrest??? I saw on the news where a WM in Philly was looted just a couple days/nights ago due to the latest shooting by police, even tho the guy had a knife and would not obey their instructions.
  25. From my reading on various forums, current dies will work but you will need the die blocks or whatever they are called specific to the Forster press since the dies just slide in/out, they don't screw into the top brace. Makes changing calibers easy from what I've read.
