The only good thing to come out of being in a place with an idiot like that:   The bad guys will shoot him first which will give me more time to draw and fire my concealed weapon.

So I bit on this deal last last week.  I made the purchase last Thursday and submitted my required info for the deal online.  The website stated an 8-12 week turnaround time for the magazines.  I got them today, 3 business days after my submission.  I was pleasantly surprised.

I'm already a lifer as well.  So when I win I too could donate the membership or you could buy me a bottle of Jack Daniels Honey instead.  

One more would be nice.  12 seems to be the perfect # of teams in FFL.  

ok ill bite. i have had managed my own ESPN league for about 15 years but had decided to call it quits this year, too much going on. My 10 y/o has been begging me to play so Ill co-manage a team with him. As long as its ESPN, no more than 12 teams and auto draft is an option Im all in. Traveling a lot the next couple of weeks and can not commit to a live only draft. Live draft with auto draft option works.

Just a heads up for parents. I took my boys yesterday (8&10) to see it.  We all enjoyed the movie, probably for different reasons but there was certainly something for all of us.  The one thing that surprised me was the amount of foul language.  Being associated with the Marvel Avengers series I really wasn't expecting it.  While most of the Marvel movies are rated PG-13 it's usually due to the violence.  There were multiple usages of Sh%T, Dick, and A-hole.  There was also a pretty funny bird flipping scene.  Nothing my kids hadnt seen or heard before but thought I'd throw it out there as a PSA.

Hmm that's tempting.  Been wanting and XDs 9mm but couldn't justify it costing $100 more than a M&P Shield.  

Read the book, hated the first movie, never watched the second. Not the movies fault really. Each part of the book would need to be a 10 part mini series to really do the book justice.

I too got my permit there almost a decade ago and became a range member.  I stopped going a couple of years ago because the place really fell apart.  You would go and only half the lanes would work and the ventilation was terrible.  I am glad to hear that they are doing some upgrades since it is by far the closest indoor range to me.  

I recently did a couple of transfers and Dave's Shooting Supply in Redbank treated me great.  While everyone else in the area wanted to charge me $60-$65 to transfer two stripped lowers I think the total I paid was $30 or $35.  Nice guy, small store trying to plant roots in the community.

Something I purchased a couple of years ago came with a free 1 year subscription to RS.  Having never really read the magazine I was wrongfully thinking that it was a music publication not a rag piece for the Liberal agenda.  I was happy to see my subscription end until I started getting the "This is your last issue"  issue every month.  My subscription ended over a year ago but  I still get that trash delivered to my house weekly.  Needless to say, it goes straight in the trash.  I could call them and try to get it stopped but it gives me a little satisfaction knowing that it cost them to pint and mail it to me every week just so I can trash it.

I'm guessing this article will win a Pulitzer Prize for it's ground breaking journalism.  I'm not kidding.

Found my dog today. Went passing out fliers and a couple said that a guy had brought her by their place looking for the owners. Told us exactly where we could find her. She was very well taken care of during her 3 nights away from home.

Found out the hard way yesterday. We live out in the country on 15 acres and few neighbors. I had still planned on bringing in my two dog before dark to be safe. No one on our hill top every shoots anything off but we have new neighbors this year. These guys set off what sounded like WW3 about an hour before dark, both of my dogs took off. One came back after an hour or so but our family dog of the last 7 years is still missing after 25 hours. Needless to say the family is pretty upset, we've had her since my youngest son was one, he doesn't remember a time without her. It was rough walking the mountain today with my two boys listening to them calling for her. Still hoping she'll show up.
