I don't have the slightest idea. That's what I was thinking. Put the freaking sign up if you want don't want carry there. That's why I thought the comments were stupid. Either way I'll check it out tonight @ 6 to see what is really said and I definite want to see what the managers at the restaurants they interviewed have to say so I know where not to take my money.

We've got one city councilman who wants a resolution to allow restaurant owners to post a ban on guns. FYI it's Ernest Brooks. They also showed a clip of one councilman who basically said a resolution was a waste of time. Channel 7(ABC) tonight at 6 they are suppose to talk about it and hear from some restaurant managers. Be sure to tune in. Just happened to have it on the news and they mentioned it

Ok this may be dumb but does this bill do anything for lakes? Here Jackson we have Lake Graham. Will any of these bill allow me to carry there? Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - Lake Graham Probably not considered a park but just curious..

I got another question about state parks and such. Will this allow one to carry at say a lake? We have Lake Graham here in Jackson which is state owned if memory serves me correct but not sure if that would be considered a State Park. I know they fall under TN Wildlife Agency Any comments?

That's my thought's as well. I rather it be yes or no even if it's not in my favor at least I know from one park to the next even though I don't visit parks if possible. Will they be required to post some new signs stating that the park is banned

With this bill allowing local parks to opt out with the city be required to put up new signs saying handgun carry is not permitted. I don't go to the park that often anyway.

I thought Walmart's Corp policy was they didn't mind carrying as long as it was concealed. I hardly go to Walmart other than in and out, but at my part time job at a electronic store I've seen some people come in OC'ing and some concealing but not doing a good job. I even had one guy come in with a glock tucked in his waist. Since I was helping him I was like so what type of glock is that, he told me and how he had his permit. I just looked at him like you're carrying a glock mexican style and cross draw.Started to ask him was it loaded but was scared he would've been like no see here look and *pow* LOL Saw one guy who had 1911 and had it covered with a vest but I'm pretty positive he wanted it to be seen by the way he kept moving so his vest would move to allow his weapon to show

I had mine renewed early last year and it was pushing up on the 90 days. I've got the email addy of one of the ladies who helps and she was very helpful, said mine was still processing and that if it wasn't done by the end of the week she would send me a paper saying i was still valid or something like that, emailed her later that week and said she was going to go ahead and issue mine, had it a few days later. Very nice lady I can't imagine what it's like now. I bet they are super swamped. I was thinking about buying a handgun but heard even NICS was running slow on them

Looks like the power has already been flipped. I don't think the Dems would've all voted for him if they didn't think he couldn't be used, best believe they are going to remind him of how they all voted for him and made him speaker. Not really a one vote majority. Also he will have to run as a Dem or either an Indy in the next election. I'll give him a chance but I'm not putting much stock in him right now

I don't trust this man... I may change my mind after some of the bills start hitting committees and he gets them to the floor but for now I see him as a lip service guy and he knows the gun crowd aint happy with how he came to be speaker

I agree with you guys. Especially if what was said above was true about him going to the Dems to back him. You know how he's going to spin it to his voters. I'm now speaker and I can funnel money and projects our way..
