  1. Roger that!  Aixelsyd moment. That's hard enough to spell forward much less backwards!
  2. Why did they leave the first intersection he came to wide open?  The first 4 to 5 minutes of the chase they had little or no on coming traffic and he even slowed down to 45 mph and they tried no TIP maneuvers.  Not until they got into a congested area do they attempt it.  It's easy to arm chair quarter back a replay but I saw several missed opportunities to end this sooner.
  3. Makes me want to test drive a Tundra! :dirty:
  4.   I know several people that reload shotgun shells but I only know one that reloads the Remington Gun Club hulls.  There may be others but he's the only one that has any luck with consistency and he only reloads them once.  We have no shortage of them either as we had 120 flats about a month ago and down to about 40 now and we are just getting cranked up.
  5.   That caught my attention as well, kind of why I posted it.  :stir:

  7.   RCBS makes A berdan decapping tool.  http://www.rcbs.com/Products/Case-Preparation/Accessories/Berdan-Decapping-Tool.aspx   I've done it placing the case in a vise with some leather around the case and a small center punch.  Another way is hydraulics.  Using a wood dowel, does not have to be an exact fit but close to filling the mouth of the case.  Fill the case with water and rest the case on a washer that with a hole that's just slightly larger than the primmer.  give the dowel a good smack with a persuasion tool.  The primmer will pop out and you may receive a little splatter of water.  This method is not recommended for large quantities but it works.
  8. I've never heard of them either.  They list Outdoor Junction in Cookeville as a dealer.  They also list LL Bean as a dealer,  I never knew LL Bean sold firearms.

    SNOW!!

Where's that global warming climate change? I don't rally mind the snow and cold, it's never stopped me from doing or going but the older I get the more I like to see Spring weather!
  10. It's a junk food shelf life experiment started in the 20th century?
  11. It is not hard to do, I've done several.  You don't need any special tools and there are several you tube videos that give you a step by step how to.  If you can take down a MK I, II or III pistol and get the mainspring assembly back in without full use of every available curse word you can do this.  Once you've mastered mainspring removal and reinstall it's really fun to work on these pistols.  Having said all that I'm not from the Murfreesboro area.  I would be happy to help you do it but I'm about an hour plus from your area.
  12.   I think this is a training video as well.  Some one with more K-9  training may be able to verify but it seems odd that the officer has his partner stand down in what appears to be the street where oncoming traffic could pass by.
  13. Nothing new!   http://www.cbsnews.com/news/chinese-restaurant-caught-with-roadkill-in-kitchen-ky-report-says/
  14.   I would say if Charlie is still around that would be true.
  15. Different ranges, different RO's equal different policies. I have experienced on some ranges you are expected to police your own brass and others that have a policy that if it hits the ground it becomes property of the range.   Do they have rules or policies posted anywhere on the range?  If not, I would ask.
  16. Gotta love Sheriff Judd for the the statement he gave to the press after his SWAT team shot a guy on the run that had shot one of his deputies during a traffic stop. The Swat team Swiss cheesed the guy with 68 countable wounds. When Sheriff Judd was asked why they shot the guy 68 times he replied, "that's all the bullets they had.".
  17.   There are a few states that do not allow lottery winnings be paid to a blind trust, I'm almost positive Tennessee is NOT one of them.  If I won a large sum like this, that ticket would go into a safe deposit box and due diligence would begin before anyone and I mean anyone would know about it.  I would probably use at least 9 - 10 of the 12 months allowed to claim the prize to arrange a disappearance.
  18. I agree but it's not really an option in Tennessee or the 2 other states that had winners.  Maybe not go on national TV but your Identity will be compromised.  I do think if it were me I had won that kind of money I could make myself fairly hard to find if I wanted to.   Can the winner of a large Lottery prize remain anonymous?   It is the policy of the Tennessee Lottery to treat such information as a public record. The Lottery will therefore disclose the name, home state and home town of winners if a request is received for such information.
  19. Oh yeah,  nice case too.  Any wife that buys the hubby gun stuff is a keeper.  Cleaning fish and skinning deer is nice also but not a deal breaker!
  20. IN real life you're Ted Nugent, aren't you?
  21. I'm no expert but my experience is this depends on whether or not you live inside or outside of city limits as to which LEO must sign.  Inside usually means Chief of police, outside means Sheriff.
  22. My favorite clip from Quigley Down Under.   https://youtu.be/rwDmV1KWrKQ

    Want!

I'm quite certain Lakside Machine is defunct and these have not been made for a while and not too many were made when they did. If you do find one that someone is will to part with they are not cheap. I've read somewhere that a Company in Arkansas bought out their inventory and have a very limited supply of parts. These rank up there with the Tippman scaled down stuff, few and far between. Not to mention $$$$$$$$

    375 H&H

My college roomy had a pre 64 model 70 that his father had given to him. It was chambered in 300 H&H, the offspring of the 375. Not nearly the energy of of a 375 but still packs a good punch. Not exactly a varmint gun but I can tell you it will do some wicked stuff to a ground hog.
  25. I went back to the beginning of the slide show and titled methodology as to how they came up with the numbers.  If I read it correctly these numbers are based on NFA firearms only.     As America reels from yet another mass shooting, inevitable questions resurface about guns laws and the nation's pervasive firearm culture. Here is a look at per capita weapons data, based on the ATF's National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record, and 2013 data from the U.S. Census. While the ATF's National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record is the only accessible list of its kind, it is not all-inclusive. NFA firearms only include the categories regulated by The National Firearms Act of 1934: machine guns, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, suppressors, destructive devices like bombs and grenades, concealable devices with the ability to discharge a shot through the energy of an explosive, and any firearm with a bore over half an inch that has not been determined to have a legitimate sporting use. While this list is lengthy, it does not include categories like pistols, which make up a large percentage of the guns in the U.S. As such, the total numbers of guns in each state would actually be much higher than the figures here. This gallery is a but a snapshot of some of the broader trends.
