Here is what I anticipate for the season finale, a cliff hanger to rival the mid-season finale of Glenn under the dumpster. Yeah, we will be able to narrow it down to a few of Ricks posse that's about to meet their waterloo, but tune in to next seasons premier for the gruesome details.
I saw this coming several weeks ago.

When we patterned the gun two different people of different body types shot the gun.
I assume you had the same POI result? Like deadeye111 said, I have seen different brands of shotgun shells pattern totally differently as well as reloads with all the same components except for the wad have drastically different POI. I would also shoot it from a supported rest and line it up with as near a flat rib as you can hold. One more suggestion is maybe someone here has a P350 as well that would be willing to meet at a range and swap barrels to get the results. This would definitely give you information about the barrel.

Agreed! I know this does stray away from the OP's request to have some degree of consistency on the finish but I like it in any shade.

Welcome and enjoy your days in college but study a little. The fact that you mentioned you were picking up some reloading equipment reminded me of my college days. I actually had an RCBS Rock Chucker press set up in my dorm room. We had an unexpected room check one evening and the RA asked me whet it was. I told him it was a button maker, I think he knew better but shook his head and went on. My roommate and I probably had more guns in our dorm room than all of campus security combined. One more story of the good old days.

How do you know it didn't shoot low left when hunted doves? Did you pattern it before you hunted then? Have someone of slightly different stature and height shoot it and see where it patterns for them. My guess it's the way you are mounting and holding the gun. Sporting shotguns are made to fit the average person. Some better shotguns are sold with shims to change comb height, cast and or pitch. Just .125" in comb height can change your POI by 4.1" at 40 yards. Your eye is the rear sight on a shotgun and where and how you mount the gun will change the point of impact on a shotgun.

To me, it matters because it's not a real gun. I realize his actions were wrong. I'm not on Team Idiot here. But the buzz words of the day where shooting at Capitol. At 10 pm it's updated that he just had a BB Gun. I guess for me I'm upset with the media or whoever didn't release that fact until super late. He's an idiot for what he did. No argument there.
I am not an attorney nor an expert on this subject and I did not sleep at the Holiday Inn last night. I do know that if you attempt to commit a crime with an unloaded or even a toy gun you will still be charged with being armed.
This was partially clarified by the Supreme Court's decision in McLaughlin v. United States, 476 U.S. 16 (1986), which held that an unloaded handgun is a "dangerous weapon" within the meaning of § 2113(d). The rationale of the McLaughlin decision can be extended to situations involving simulated weapons such as authentic appearing toy guns and hoax bomb devices.

I thought he was holding it weird, with the middle finger on the trigger and the index finger along the slide. It was an odd enough grip that I wondered if there was something wrong with his index finger, like it was short or too weak to pull the trigger.
Only thing to make this better would be if he held sideways.

Outdated info, statute amended last year to allow for legal use of Tannerite and similar if 18 years old, see current 39-17-1302, 39-14-702, and 68-105-120.

AMENDMENT #1 replaces the provision of the bill that would create a defense to prosecution for an explosives related offense for persons whose conduct was incident to using an explosive or exploding weapon to create an exploding target for use in lawful sporting activity or using an exploding target in lawful activity. This amendment instead creates an exemption from the present law offense for the possession, manufacture, transportation, repair, or sale of an explosive if:
(1) The person in question is 18 years of age or older; and
(2) The possession, manufacture, transport, repair, or sale was incident to creating or using an exploding target for lawful sporting activity, as solely intended by the commercial manufacturer.
This amendment limits the applicability of the other exemptions from present law that are described in the Bill Summary to situations where the person possessing part of an explosive intended to be used as an exploding target, or using explosive materials intended to be used for an exploding target, is 18 years of age or older. -
It's going to be tough outlawing this stuff, seeing how its a binary explosive and these ingredients are not able to be classified as an explosive by itself. No, I see the use of these being outlawed not the sale, sort of how they try and control fireworks. But I had the same thought when I first seen it, it won't be long.
I did my fair share of, lets see what an exploding target will do to this ................... (fill in the blank). Not so much anymore.
Currently in Tennessee it is legal to possess but as soon as you mix it you violated the current law. You still see this stuff for sale in Tennessee but most retail stores have quit stocking it for liability reasons so they say. You can read below what the attorney general has to say about exploding targets.

Yeah I noticed sometime last week that he got the boot. I will admit, I did enjoy reading his post. On more than a few occasions I had to google some references just to figure out what he said, which made his post all the better for me. He's definitely a type A on steroids.

NO disrespect Caster but quit thinking logically. This is a TV show about post apocalyptic life complete with zombies. We are gun people here that are more firearm savvy than maybe the average viewer just accepts as plausible because of their ignorance to all things firearm related. I do agree a complete machine shop is not necessary because like you say there should be a fair amount of ammo still stashed in peoples homes and in retail stores. I'm sure the store supplies would disappear quicker but surely there are some that remain untouched or maybe I'm way off on that one. Using the same thought process there should be sporting good and gun shops that have reloading equipment for the taking. My first thought when Eugene explained his vision of producing ammunition was what about powder and primers. The same place they would scavenge these items there should be reloading equipment as well.
As for the Doctor Denise, all I have to say about that is, she never saw it coming! :biglol:

I was too busy enjoying her with my eyes to notice her accent with my ears. Even with dingy clothes and so on to try and make her look like a scuzzy, scavenging marauder living in the zombie apocalypse Alicia Witt was almost too pretty and too 'bright eyed' for the role.
There has always been something about some red heads that caught my eye too.

Thanks, the first price list I saw did not have the deer licence as an add on and I thought $34 to hunt and fish was awful cheap. I am used to paying a lot more to hunt. $68 is cheap, I might have to stay in state more often.

Tennessee experienced a 22% increase this year. Here is an article that came out about the time the increase if you want to know the details. They even compare Tennessee fees to Michigan's.

I know of a few people that gave them a try. Some are exact knock offs of the heavy hitters in the motorcycle industry. I've heard and read stories that some of them are built with old worn out tools and dies sold off for scrap by the big name companies. Of the ones I know about the first thing to go are the welds on the frames. You get what you pay for.

Ok I give up where is the air show?
Smyrna, Tennessee at the Smyrna Airport, . Formerly Sewart AFB before it was decommissioned in 1971. I entered the world in the base hospital which as I recall was not too far from the flight line. I saw my first air show there when the Thunderbirds were flying the F100 Super Sabre.
