I don't mean to side track the thread but looks untaxed and dyed gas has already splintered it a little. I remember years ago in my flying days when Avgas went north of $2.00 / gallon and it was popular to apply for a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) so we could run $1.00 / gallon car gas in our planes. Has ethanol gas put an end to this or have STC's been revised to still allow providing pure gas is used? I always thought it was kind of ironic back then because us aviation guys were were looking for cheap car gas to run in our planes and the street rod and racing guys were hauling cans to the airport for their cars.

My boy and I will be there Friday in time for the fish fry. The plan is for one of our crew to win or make the shoot offs in the Krieghoff 100 handicaps Saturday. If that doesn't happen I still want my rib eye steak rare. See you soon and wish you good shooting!

That makes 4 of us that I know of. I hope there is a fix to it because I use my Ipad quite often to visit TGO and since this started I find myself getting frustrated and ending my session much quicker than I used to.

I will admit I was not familiar with it either until smokin45 put up this little challenge, which I must admit that I'm a sucker for these sort of things. I did have to do a web search after the obvious choices were incorrect. I do have a collection of odd and uncommon cartridges stashed away that I hope to run across someday when I'm looking for something else. When I do, I will post a similar guessing game.

Well I don't know if it's the update or what but I have something really strange going on. Earlier today when I logged in on my desk top everthing was okay but not so on my Ipad. When I view unread content in condensed or expanded view the thread titles run vertical down the page all stacked and slammed together. Okay then for the practical answer to a hypothetical Sci-Fi situation. It would be something light weight, semi-compact, quiet and have the ability to carry large amounts of ammunition. I'm thinking an integrally suppressed Ruger 10-22. I would add a folding stock, a couple of BX-50's and pair with a substantial machete type blade on my side.

How old and how many open and close cycles has it seen? I have an entourage that I have EDC for over a year and a half and used on something at least once a day. It's still opens fast and locks up tight with no play in any direction.
