  1. A pair of low serial number Avanti XS40 Valiants I'm still hanging on to from my kids 3P shooting days and a Crossman 2009 Challenger, no picture of it. I have an indoor 10 meter range set up and we'll get into some friendly competitions on occasions when the weather outside is less than inviting.
  2. I may be wrong but those appear to be nothing more than black powder blanks. There is a lot of flash, smoke and powder residue on the walls and ground. If those were regular shot loads those guys would have been catching splattered lead off the ground and wall. Even with black powder loads there is quite a bit of unburnt powder and residue that can cause some serious damage to human flesh at close range. Does this make it a good idea, No, still pretty stupid but I did watch the video 3 times for research purposes of course.
  3. I think I'm safe, my lethal dose is way more than my average annual intake of my favorite sot drink. I know there are a lot of things with caffeine in them but as I was scrolling through the list I saw these. Really?
  4. So it's called a park, looks like a park with park amenities, used as a park even by the cities own admission but they still claim it's NOT a park. I guess if and when the Bergeron Lawsuit makes its way into court this park or not a park will be a major issue.
  5. Anderson Lowers at AIM while supplies last $39.95.
  6. Anna Chapman , Yeah Baby but probably more like
  7. 3 attempts on the mouse and within 3-4 years of my age. Twice with the keyboard and I'm suddenly 20 years younger.
  8. There may be other states but I know Idaho has a maximum weight limit of 16 pounds (including sling, scope and any other attachments) on rifles for hunting big game. I believe this came about because hunters were making or attempting up to 1000 or more yard shots on Elk. Idaho fish and game determined this was an not a fair chase of big game and possibly too dangerous for other hunters. The 16 pound weight limit was their attempt to eliminate the 50 caliber rifles but this doesn't eliminate the real problem of stupid and unethical hunters.
  9. I thought I felt the ground rumble!
  10. Check out this thread HERE.
  11. Setting changed back to email notifications on.
  12. Wasn't too bad at first with notifications every 3 -5 days that I have not visited TGO and y'all miss me since I haven't been there in like oh say, an hour. Then they started to come in every day but as of today multiples. So it became time to hit the link after the PSS: and change my notification settings. First box about sending me news and information has been unchecked. If I hear this settles down I will change my setting. That is all, carry on.
  13. Back in the day Colt Firearms presented this to President Kennedy.
  14. Okay I'm with you, I was making the calculations way more difficult and missing the obvious. Sleep deprivation will do that. I agree as no sighters would make this a rarely achieved challenge at least on the first attempt.
  15. Doing the math this requires sub .774 MOA for 8 out of 10 shots. Did I calculate this correctly?
  16. My best guess is a German Garden Gun, third one down. I found it Here
  17. This is tempting me to knock the dust of my Unertl scoped 40X.
  18. I'm logged on and I received the email about being missed. (Yeah I know this is a chimpanzee and not a monkey)
  19. Beautiful male Wood Duck. Highly prized as they rank high on the short list most colorful waterfowl and make for really great taxidermy mounts.
  20. The Moon Pie orignated in Chattanooga and are still made by Chattanooga Bakery to this day. 1912 is 5 years too early, they were created in 1917.
  21. How can it be an off the grid project when you just told the whole world?
  22. Well crap, I thought I was the only lucky one here. I was all ready to enter a new post in the most I would ever spend on a gun!
  23. I took a screen shot of it and then closed it. I then then opened in my messages but can't find an option to report the post in my messages.
  24. gregintenn posted this link below back in mid October http://www.fkbrno.com/en/7-5-fk-system The first time I saw a picture of the Hudson I thought of the FK Brno. Unlike the Hudson, the Brno has a hammer and a traditional trigger but the feature that is shared is the extra mass in the dust cover area or as Chucktshoes called it, chin. Both of these guns are said to have very little muzzle flip, torque or that they just shoot flat. That's all about the extra mass and what ever secrets are hidden inside them and the fact that all this lowers the bore axis so therefore they shoot flatter than someones ex wife's boobs. Is this a fad or a trend? I don't know but sure would like to get my hands on either one for a test drive. The Hudson M9 The 7.5 FK Brno
