  1. Bottom line is, a well placed shot with any of these 9mm, .355 or .356 nominal bullet diameter cartridges and it will be a good self defense round, PERIOD.
  2. Okay, so I'm not even going to touch the CLIP reference debate. This could go on for awhile I know, but how about 12,400 grains of 9mm?
  3. How about 3680 grains of 9mm with one trigger pull.
  4. Sure would like to see some pictures of it if possible.
  5. Quit hitting on the ladies, they will get you for sexual harassment. JK you know.
  6. No real details but it looks like three intruders picked the wrong house. Three Intruders........
  7. Here's a .357 Arminus on GB. With a minimum bid of $64.00 and the auction ends Friday. .357 Arminus
  8. The two that Graycrait mentioned are good choices. Since I got into the pcp game with my kids shooting competitive 10m sporter air rifle I picked up several items from TargetTalk.org In there buy, sell ,trade section. Yeah a lot of their stuff is geared toward competitive shooting but It's where I picked up my 80cf tank with yoke and fittings for a third of the cost of new. The carbon fiber tanks are nice and easy to handle but a bit on the pricey side when a steel tank will do the same thing. It's been about a year since I had mine filled but it was a whole $8.00 at a scuba shop in Nashville.
  9. 9mm vs. ?? threads of recent are not as colorful compared to some in the past. Maybe the horse has been beaten into oblivion. However, just because I can, I dug up an old visual to add to the seemingly never ending debate, PERIOD.
  10. I totally understand. I always enjoy seeing the work you've done. Keep it up.
  11. By the serial number it looks like it was made in one of the high production years. My 2 year old S.P. Fjestad Blue book values it at $650.00 in 60% NRA condition and $1500.00 in 90% NRA condition. I'm no expert but these have always been something I've been drawn to when I see one at a gun show or flea market. I've personally seen these priced between $600.00 - $1200.00. I know that really doesn't tell you much because I've seen two of this production year side by side and one was substantially less and when I asked why I was told it had the wrong rear sight on it for that production run. Good luck and I'm sure someone will come along with more to add than I have.
  12. That is a very nice sporter job there xtriggerman. I bought a 1909 M96 Carl Gustaf Swedish Mauser at a gun show many years ago with the intent to sporterize it but have yet to find my Round Tuit to make it happen. You still doing stuff like this?
  13. It's a no brainer. You reach down and get your shank out of your pocket and give it to Willis and say, do your magic!
  14. I don't see that there is a way to just view your own. I'm sure you already know that by clicking the Gallery button at the top of the page with the camera icon next to it, that will take you to a page with the separate gallery categories. Then you can click on each of those to view all pictures in that category.
  15. Thanks hughd I do see where Gallery pictures can be deleted. My post was in response to Oh Shoots post that all you had to do was delete the images from your My Attachments Section to remove pictures them from the Gallery, which if like my Gallery photos are not in the My Attachments Folder so that did not answer your OP. I hope this makes sense.
  16. The late night clip that she had forgot about and was somewhat embarrassed by was good. She did have the nerd look rocking with the glasses she was wearing. However she does clean up good and is quite on the attractive side.
  17. If it was sent as certified mail then someone had to sign for it. You can take this how you want but if nobody signed for it then they have no way to prove that you ever recieved it.
  18. Was this sent to you by certified mail?
  19. This pretty much sums it up. Those that argue in favor of citations by automated cameras deny it, but these are nothing more than revenue generators first and public safety second.
  20. If it does not contain the text , I highlighted in red below, along with being bold face and as large as the largest font anywhere else on the notice/citation then the citation is invalid the way I understand it. SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 55-8-198(b), is amended by adding the following new subdivision: (6) Every notice of violation or citation issued that is based solely upon evidence obtained from any traffic enforcement camera used to enforce or monitor traffic violations of § 55-8-11 O(a)(3), or any municipal law or ordinance that mirrors, substantially duplicates, or incorporates by cross-reference the language of § 55-8-11 O(a)(3), shall have printed on the notice or citation the following disclaimer in bold-face type and a font that is the same size as the largest font used on the notice or citation: "Non-payment of this ["notice" or "citation"] cannot adversely affect your credit score or report, driver's license, and/or automobile insurance rates."
  21. Sure was nice of them to issue this chessy certificate to those that participated in the Operation Teapot test.
  22. Was it sent to you from a company in Knoxville, TN?
  23. Let's say by hearsay I may know of someone who received such pole cop/ red light camera citation. The citation did have the required language printed on it. It also had printed prior to that, This citation must be paid by law. Upon further reading the law that was cited was the law of the local municipal government. So there is nothing they can do to force you to pay the fine by mail and they can't come after your for refusal to pay. The problem begins when stopped by a living breathing law enforcement officer in the same municipal location as the camera cop citation. Then it seems you may end up paying the fine with penalties to cut out the hassle factor or go to the trouble of hiring representation.
  24. I have gallery pictures that are not in my attachments, so how does that work?
  25. Gotcha, thanks!
