Even though the politics section has been eliminated, political threads will continue to pop up whether it be under general discussion or any of the other possibilities. The heart of this forum is firearms and like it or not politics will always be connected to our ownership and use of them. I too get a little frustrated with the rants that go on in these threads and they do veer off on tangents but such is the nature of any group of people gathered and having a conversation. Once politics or religion is mentioned, some people get quite riled and start spewing. I am in favor of keeping a political section but make it a benefactor only option. My other suggestion would be to make sections like members if it is even possible. We have the ignored user option under account settings so we don't see their entries could we do this for an entire forum section?

If this is possible then I'm liking that feature. I'm thinking I may have to add a Masterpiece Arms BA rifle to my bucket list of guns to get.

I will agree with you on this but I have on occasion thought I had done nothing to significantly change anything only to look over and see otherwise. Then again my wife thinks I'm more than a half bubble out of level just about all the time.

I too have a scope mounted level on a Vortex scope. On mine and can glance over and see it with my off eye without breaking cheek weld. Everyone is a little different on things like this.

At first I thought the same thing but then I thought about it some more. Can the spirit level be checked without coming out of the gun? I would think not. Once you've established cheek weld and cleaning everything up to send the shot it seems it would be impossible to check down there for cant without disturbing your position.

Probably why he's lived so long. He's probably been thin all his life because chances are he's lived an active life style. You don't see too many obese people who are 80 plus years old. Some of this is probably due to muscle atrophe due to several age related reasons.

Anything labeled as pre-ban adds little or more like nothing to the fair market value in these parts. You may have someone that happens along and think they are getting something rare but that someone will be a very rare find as well. It's perfectly legal to make or purchase these now in the so called pre-ban configuration so what would one be gaining around here?

Not trying to turn this into a science class but amplitude modulation or AM signal wavelengths are lower frequency and will pass through solid objects easier and bounce off the some atmospheric layers much unlike frequency modulation or FM signals. If weather and and the atmospheric layer conditions are just right an AM signal could be received on other side of the earth with as little as 5 watts.

That brings back old memories. While not a loyal listener I do recall occasionally picking the show up late at night. That's because it was the only time you could pick up WLS-AM out of Chicago.

I and and few others here have made it known they are holders of a Type 3 C&R FFL so there will definitely be some interest here. Like Ronald_55 said don't rule out shipping. If any of the items are in the least bit desirable the receiving party may be willing to cover or share the cost of shipping. Guns are shipped somewhere every day in this country, it's all good.
