  1. I did quite a bit of windshield time Saturday in the rural areas where I live. I saw deer everywhere and some in places I've never seen them before from early morn until late that Saturday night. Since the cold front has passed and traveling in the same area I've not seen a single deer for three days.
  2. Very cool and that problem with my unsecured desk drawers flying open unexpectedly, SOLVED!
  3. Anytime the subject revealing what’s on my list of wants or desires or someon else’s wish list, the lyrics to a Rolling Stones song starts blaring in my head. I’ve probably blown way more than 1 or 2 50 amp fuses trying to justify or convince myself why I should acquire widget X that I want over Y or Z that I need. You know you’ve heard it and maybe thought, yeah that’s so true. You can't always get what you wantYou can't always get what you wantYou can't always get what you wantBut if you try sometimes you just might findYou get what you needYou get what you need--yeah, oh baby So after all that and like last year and a few before I’m looking for a deal on a 50 BMG that I have absolutely no real use for other than I want one or a Perazzi MX 2000 combo that will see some regular range time.
  4. Not sure what the standards are for the intended use but accurate and easy to use electronic scales are fairly inexpensive these days. http://www.scalesgalore.com/salter_electrosamson_hanging_scales.htm
  5. Always enjoy the Lyudmila stories and here is more from page 2 of this thread
  6. Mosquito breeding area elimination!
  7. You hit the trifecta, congratulations!
  8. My first BB gun was a Daisy 1894 Spittin’ Image (saddle ring version). One of my most memorable birthdays and I remeber it like it was yesterday even though it was 46 Year’s ago. Gun still works and even have the original box, The box is a little rough but I’m just slightly amazed I still have it.
  9. Daisy is still a big thing today. Even though they were bought by Gamo last year the new owner has committed to keep up the national match program tradition. I've had the privilege to attend 5 Daisy National Championship Matches and was a team coach at 4 of them and made the award stage once. They spend a large chunk of money to put this match on every year and a large portion of the expenses for teams an individual is covered by Daisy. Check it out: Daisy National Championship BB Gun Matches
  10. On a Classic note:
  11. What little I could find on them they have a polymer coating.
  12. Ahh, good question. Not sure other than I did it in a hurry.
  13. Ain't this cute!
  14. Christmas of yesteryear. Christmas in the 21st Century
  15. He mentioned nanotechnology which may be a way to get by the BBB but I still think we have other issues to focus our attention on. Like, is the .45 ACP really better than 9mm?
  16. One thing I took a way from this was that people have been eavesdropping on phone conversations since the 1920's. Well dah! Then after a little research, and I mean very little, this guy believes the Deepwater Horizon oil spill was intentional at which point I said, I've seen and heard enough here.
  17. Katherine Hepburn Circa 1935
  18. TGO today could become peopleofwalmart.com tomorrow! Not by me though.
  19. peopleofwalmart.com ?
  20. If we are seriously going by the Thread Title, this doe would be nice. Now if you meant something else, I would like this under the tree. M107A1
  21. My Suit pants or dress slacks go to is the Benchmade Lerch Impel. It is a small auto knife but it will cut.
  22. Congratulations on your new pup acquisition. Looks like the pup is pleased with his new human acqusition as well. He is a fine looking and uniquely marked hound dog mix.
  23. Yeah it's all fun and games until things get sparse and someone may shoot you in the back for a can of possum sardines, stale crackers or your last coin of the land.
  24. Live fire demos? I wonder what the marketing guys at Beretta were thinking when they rolled out their heavy 50 BMG rifle and named it after a genus of black birds, like crows and ravens and such?
