I would not do it but not all of the hack jobs look horribly bad.

I'm with you now CZ9MM After at least 15 years of being away from shooting highpower rifle my MOA calculating has become a little fuzzy so I just went back for a little refresher. MOA is something that confuses a lot of shooters and even when I understand it I get myself confused. Here is something I found from Brownells to help others visualize MOA. Rounding MOA 1 MOA @ 100 yards = 1 inch 1 MOA @ 200 Yards = 2 inch 1 MOA @ 300 yards = 3 inch 1 MOA @ 400 Yards = 4 inch 1 MOA @ 500 yards = 5 inch 1 MOA @ 600 Yards = 6 inch 1 MOA @ 700 yards = 7 inch 1 MOA @ 800 Yards = 8 inch 1 MOA @ 900 Yards = 9 inch 1 MOA @ 1000 Yards = 10 inch Minute of Angle as it applies to group size and drop MOA is used to measure group sizes. A 1 inch group @ 100 yards is referred to as a 1 MOA group. A 2 inch group @ 100 yards is a 2 MOA group. Not sure it was worth getting all worked up over the actual MOA of the less than favorable group size of this not a shotgun / not a rifle gimmick firearm but it happens.

So after going back and watching the video I was wrong and a correction and further explanation is needed. First off the Franklin Armory Rep. never uses the term MOA but claims the gun is capable of 4" groups at 50 yards which is probably a best case scenario in the real world. So at 100 yards this should equate to a 4MOA or 8 inch group

Yeah I probably would have jumped on that one if I saw it, very nice. A Dremel tool, buffing wheels and polishing compound will fix the problem areas and you will get the satisfaction of doing it yourself.

Your math is correct!

I'm with you KahrMan in the I want one cataory. Why, because I don't have one and it just sounds like something I would like to have is why. It does have some interesting features and the ballistics make it look better. The only thing is the $$$$. Looks like the actual cost is running about $3-4 more tan they were projecting 2 years ago.

I see where this could become problematic at many local indoor and out door shooting ranges keeping stray bullets contained.

Soon I'm sure. But, if a muzzle device is added that causes the projectile to spin in any amount, does it become a rifle?

Here's what was discussed about the 7.5 back in 2016. https://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/99583-now-heres-something-interesting/?tab=comments#comment-1411095

So here's another version of the periscoped rifle. The Cameron-Yaggi Experimental 1903 is a bit more complex and cumbersome.

The rifle has a push button that allows the soldier to lift up on the receiver and down on the stock until it snaps in place firmly. Another button allows it to be stowed. When up, there is a hollow through the now-vertical wrist section. At its base is a polished mirror. Along the left side wrist an extendable, rotating arm holds another mirror, which can be aligned with the rear sight. This came from :CLICK HERE

So all this time Browning 50 cals. have been mislabeled. By ATF definition they are not a machine gun!

Thanks guys, I'm thoroughly depressed now. I'm going over to that other gun forum and see if I can get cheered back up!

We get a dusting of snow and people loose their minds around these parts. Others that see plenty of it, put it to good use.

Now that I've jumped in with both feet, I don't know whether to thank or curse TGO David. Yet another outlet for me to be useless and unproductive while I'm at work! Good thing I'm self employed as I can't have anyone yell at me or complain other than my customers. I will from now on send all customer complaints to TGO David!

A tough weekend keeping water open over in northwest Tennessee to look inviting for the millions of ducks that were in the area but we scored a few.

Back to Nam again. Best I can tell this is from the Plei Do Lim special forces camp. Fresh venison anyone?

Hope and pray that all goes well.

I've done some things that I look back on now (being much older and just a little wiser) and say, "I must have be nuts when I did that"! So fess up analog_kidd, can you honestly say at any point on the way to this venture did you ask yourself, is this really going to be fun?

After almost 2 years of negotiation the acquisition was completed in September of 2017 for the bargain price of $4 billion.

Im with you on this one. It sure looked more like a .270 WSM than a .270 Win.

I did quite a bit of windshield time Saturday in the rural areas where I live. I saw deer everywhere and some in places I've never seen them before from early morn until late that Saturday night. Since the cold front has passed and traveling in the same area I've not seen a single deer for three days.

Very cool and that problem with my unsecured desk drawers flying open unexpectedly, SOLVED!
