  1. Ballistol is pretty much all I use now. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  2. As someone who has worked in transportation for a very long time for multiple companies (including FedEx), I can tell you that most of the issues people have are terminal specific. In other words, the service depends greatly upon the personnel at the facilities through which the freight/packages move. Every different company runs a very similar system to every other. The people are what make most of the difference; however, every company is going to have issues and mistakes and damages and lost freight, etc. As long as human beings are involved, there will be human error. I have had separate customers on the same route serviced by the same driver both hate us and love us. One guy thinks we are the worst carrier in the world, but his neighbor just down the street thinks we are the best. That is just the nature of the business. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  3. I don't own one but I have shot them. Most people don't like them because they are a double action only hammer fired gun, which means it has a long trigger pull. Personally, I thought the trigger was really good on it, but I shoot a lot of revolvers and really like that kind of trigger. If I had any complaint about the trigger, it might be that it is too light, because I had a few light strikes that day at the range. The guy that had it said that it had a lot of rounds through it though and he thought the spring might have gotten weak. Anyway, the only other complaint I had was that, like many SIG's, it has an extremely high bore axis. This was not a problem as far as recoil or control, I just don't personally like the slide being that tall. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  4. If possible, find someone you know that reloads and get them to walk you through the basics. It will make what you are reading much more easy to understand. Barring that, or in addition to it, watch a bunch of YouTube videos of people reloading. This is just to better illustrate the process. Don't necessarily take anyone's word for what is right though. Always stick to published data. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  5. I have been playing guitar for a long time and have several amps, some very powerful and fairly high priced. However, almost without fail when I sit down to play or practice, or even write and record ideas at home, it is my Fender Mustang I that I plug into. I love that amp. It has great tones, has a lot of effects, and is plenty loud for a bedroom. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  6. It is hammer fired, but the hammer is fully cocked when the action is cycled. It is roughly the same size as the original, but feels a little meatier in the hand. The trigger pull is short and crisp.
  7. I think Hetfield is a hunter too, so he would hopefully be pro-gun. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  8. I shot one of the Gen 2 R51's at the range last week. It wasn't bad, but it was nothing ground shattering either. It functioned flawlessly and seemed decently accurate. The two main drawbacks were the takedown, which is horrendous, and how badly the grip safety under the beaver tail pinched my hand. It felt like really bad hammer bite from a 1911. After 50 rounds my hand was red and raw. A couple of other guys at the range reported the same issue as well, so it wasn't just me. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  9. 32 S & W long would definitely be the cheapest of the 4 cartridges the LCR will fire. You should be able to find it under $20/box.
  10. I have used mag carriers on my belt, etc, but I have found that I like the snagmag pocket carrier the best. It just slips in your left side (or right if you prefer) front pocket and is easily accessible and it just looks like you have a knife or something clipped in.
  11. Probably because they seem to be much more prevalent in West TN rather than Middle or East, which is what you would expect if they came up from FL.
  12. That article also mentions coyotes and armadillos. Coyotes have been here as long as I can remember, but the armadillos are something new. I had never even seen one until just a few years ago, and now those nasty rascals are everywhere. They have actually replaced possum as the #1 road kill around here now.
  13. The one I saw was just south of Trenton. I know guys that have seen them in Crockett county between Humboldt and Alamo as well. They have been spotted in Obion and Lake county also, which means they are all over West TN. I don't consider them much of a danger though. As far as wild animals go, the half breed coyotes are probably the biggest threat around here. Like you said though, the real danger are the two legged animals we have around here.
  14. My R1 has been pretty good as long as I don't use the mags that came with it. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  15. That picture may not be genuine, but I saw a cat that size and color about 24 years ago in Gibson County (West TN). They are definitely in the state. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
