I actually just received my squad email.     Just got to pick a squad.   Anybody know if there's a squad of rookies in there?

OH IT GETS BETTER!   It wasn't a shipment from CZ.  It was a bottle of scented essential oil my wife ordered on Amazon!   Now I'm ticked I wasted my lunch chasing down essential oil and not a gun toy!   Amazing.

So I have a package coming from CZ.   Nothing major.  One hat, one patch, one sticker and 16 round flush mag to carry.   Apparently my postman is just too lazy to get out of the truck and knock on the door.   I watched him slide the "restricted material" slip into my box without even attempting to knock on my door.   And wow, that's some serious hazardous material.  I could really hurt somebody throwing that magazine at them!   And they wonder why the post office is a joke.   Seriously we have a normal post office jeep delivering 50% of the neighborhood, then a rural route carrier delivers the rest.  Maybe just one guy could handle it all and save some money?

If you go a little too heavy on oil does that result in the fireballs? I know I had too much hoppes on the slide last night. I'm careful to wipe the barrel down real well and not leave too much oil in it. Sent from the Fortress of Solitude.

  Can I get some training wheels?

    Mine is still iffy on this.  It's cool when it works though!  I've got about 1,000 rounds through the Shadow now.  Most of the time it will chamber, but I've got to smack it in pretty hard.     My final team stage on the plate shoot when my plate fell .25 sec slower, it didn't work then! 

    I think they are still taking stand by requests.  It was open when I enrolled on Sunday, but it should have been closed.  I was in fact wait listed, but got my verified email yesterday so I'm in.   I spoke to Byrl yesterday and he said many checks hadn't been sent in so you may be able to get in still.

I'm in. No registration is available on Practiscore yet.     Had my first real range time with the Shadow this weekend.     Slow and methodical on my shots and I couldn't believe the accuracy of the gun.     At 10 yards you can drill out the center of a target.  Maybe no big deal for you pros, but I've never had a gun capable of this. (and I probably wasn't capable either until recently.   Now to turn accuracy into speed + accuracy.  

Well considering how cool this place looks, I'll just have to schedule some days off to make the shoots!  That's an incredible range!

Also, by June, I'll have a new 7or 8 person hauler so if anybody wants a lift, let me know.  I think I'll ride up after work on Friday night.  I'll leave around 6:00 or so.

Itchy if anybody drops out on your squad, I want in!

I just signed up today.  Check is in the mail.  Hopefully I still have a spot!    

So what happens to our matches in Gallatin?   Still doing that?   What's the cost to shoot IDPA at Royal Range?  This place looks like the country club of gun ranges.  Very nice.   I'll have trouble making the drive in time, but I'll try to get to some of the matches.   I just hope this doesn't mean it's the end of the Gallatin shoots.

    That was pretty epic.  When they saved Glenn that was awesome to.  Looked like some superhero ginger saving the day.  Very awesome.

Yeah like a Cannon. My father-in-law had to hire a gunsmith to replace his locking mechanism. Took him two days of drilling 14 holes just to get it open. I was sold. Sent from the Fortress of Solitude.
