I spoke with CZ Customs and apparently the Compact Shadow (shadow printed on the slide) is near impossible to find.     I was told that CZ only imported 50 a few years back.   So I just went with the standard and shipped it off to CZ Custom to get it "sweetened".  Now to wait three months!

Well gents the problem is cured. Had a malfunction during an IDPA shoot with the Tennessee Action Pistol guys. They nailed the trigger screw as the problem right away. Fixed it at the shoot and perma fixed later with Loctite blue. Just another reason that rookie shooters should get involved with their local shooting clubs. Thanks for the input. If everything appears to be working fine with snap caps wouldn't that suggest the problem is solved? I can't replicate the problem now with dry fire practice. I did back out the screw 1/4 turn. Sent from the Fortress of Solitude.

Yesterday my CZ Shadow started developing a problem with the single action trigger pulls.  The trigger pulls back but won't release.   I think this may be as simple as the screw in the trigger over extending not allowing the trigger to break.   DA shots all go off.   Single action is hit or miss, but I can't replicate the problem with snap caps.  It always releases the hammer.    Also, is this something that could be a magazine specific issue?     I shoot guns!  Understanding their inner workings is a work in progress but I'm sponging it up.

Well it seems to be loosening up. My Mark 3 is now handling most ammo except the Thunderbolts. I'm going to polish the slide up just for a little extra help. Sent from the Fortress of Solitude.

Nothing in stock.  It seems they can't ever keep up with the demand for Shadows.  I've not seen a "true" CZ 75 Compact Shadow in stock anywhere on the web.  I've probably checked 25 sites.   One will pop up eventually!

Just that question?   Is this gun legal for IDPA CCP division?   And where the heck can you find one?   I've been all over the net for one.   I'd prefer it to already be a Shadow and not to buy a compact to upgrade it.   Thanks,

Is the archery range by the steam plant still open?     I've not been there since I was a kid almost 25 years ago.   I'm not even sure I remember how to get there.  I do know how to get to the Gallatin Gun Club if that helps any of you steer me in the right direction.   My daughters are taking up archery and I'd love to take them on a walk on through the woods to practice.   Is there any where else close you archery fans suggest?   Thanks in advance.

Did you pick your size based on their recommendation? I selected my carry style as both IWB and OWB and it says I should order a 40. I'm a 34 waist. My Wilderness belt is a 38 and works great for IWB but overlaps too much for perfect OWB. I ordered a 36 Wilderness for IDPA so it will work better for OWB but I want a nice leather belt also. Syma X5C and Hubsan with HD camera are good starters. You will break props. You will need more batteries. They require much practice to fly. I think quads are far easier than copters. Both are tough for a kid to fly. Sent from the Fortress of Solitude.

Well if I run into TODD I'm likely dead. My life isn't about 100% guns and protection. I do the best I can with my skills. As I age my hand combat skills have left me. Three years ago I wouldn't have backed down from a giant and I'm a little guy. As I age my handgun skills are improving to compensate for a lack of physical greatness. I have kids. I can't ever justify spending that kind of money on a pet. I had to put down two animals this year. Both were very old and sick so I had them put down rather than expensive tests to figure out something I already knew. Whatever was wrong with them was likely not going to be fixed without extensive vet bills and they would likely die of old age soon any way. Walther P22.  They use this gun in the dictionary for a picture of FTE.  Kept less than a few weeks and sold the junk.

I have a stock CZ 75 SP-01 tactical and a CZ 75 Shadow. I like them both but since acquiring the Shadow the tactical hasn't left the safe more than once and I only shot one mag. Sent from the Fortress of Solitude.
