This is why my EDC has a grip safety and a trigger safety.

Maybe if she were younger, but my 14 year old female husky would be nothing but trouble.  Can't see, hear or fight.  Rarely barks at all.  When she was younger there wasn't a dog I'd rather have by my side.  She has been the perfect family protector for many years.  The sight of a husky is often enough to scare away people.  I guess it's the wolf like appearance.  She's no more closer to a wolf than a chihauhau. 

Quick question.   If you see a sign with just a gun crossed out without the posted official notice isn't it invalid?   Thanks,

I actually got mine much faster than expected and I believe they are turning them around in 3 days now.   I have the 3.0 IWB and the OWB for a Springfield XD Mod.2 9MM and couldn't be happier.     The OWB holster is nice and snug and conceals well with an untucked shirt.  I think it may conceal better than the IWB without a shirt tucked in.   I'm using the OWB as my IDPA holster for now since I had so much trouble finding a true competition holster for my model gun and it's great.

#$^&%*@$   OK, I'm really not happy about missing tonight!   but...   I gave my daughter her first compound bow today for her birthday and that's going to be a lot of fun teaching her.   Now she needs some arm strength to draw it.  She's managed to pull it back just once.  The draw length looks pretty good out of the box and I let the poundage down as low as it will go.  She's a tiny thing!   You guys have fun tonight.  I'll see you all next week.

Well, we get absolutely pounded in the championship last night.  20-2.  Very ugly.   Poor officiating led to several parents getting thrown out of the park.  Unbelievable.     I can't shoot on 10/28, but will be itching to get back to shooting the following week.   I'm shooting the qualifier on 11/14.  Looking forward to it.

After a devastating pummeling of our opponent last night, we will have to have practice tonight.  I lost track of the score when it was around 15 - 1.     My other daughters birthday is next Wednesday so I'll see you all in a few weeks.     Does anybody have information on the IDPA qualifier at the Gallatin Gun Club in November?  I'd like to get qualified.   Thanks!

I'll be there if my daughter's softball team gets knocked out of the tournament tonight.  If not, I've got practice tomorrow for the championship!      I'm torn!  I'd like to win my first championship as a coach, but I'd REALLY like to shoot tomorrow!

How did it go last night?  I need to get some more time under my belt before trying the qualifier.  I feel like I'm getting more comfortable each week and I finally picked up some gear.  New vest, belt and settled on an Alien Gear OWB 3.0 holster.  Not a competition model, but a vast improvement over what I was using.     Also picked up some 9MM 147 grain rounds.  

Another reason I like my Springfield mod.2.  Grip safety plus trigger safety, plus handling the firearm safely!    

I ordered mine a few days ago.  I ordered the combo pack.  Due to the wait time I'm considering canceling the order.  It's going to be 4 - 6 weeks.  

Perfect for my much needed practice on weak and strong hand shooting.  See you all tonight.  Looks like a lot of fun.

    I sat in the humid stadium on Sunday watching the Titans and thought to myself, "If I wanted to watch this again I could just go turn on the DVR".   If I were Mariota, I'd tell the Titans if they don't draft offensive lineman and tackles with all their picks next year, I'm quitting!

Glad they will be around.  A Colt LE6920 is a purchase in my near future.  Right now I'm seeing dwindling stock online for certain models.

The newer XD Mod.2 Sub-Compact in 9mm.

Bill doesn't have the mold.  I'd have to leave my gun with him and I don't have a backup gun.  I'll have to go off the shelf.  I'll have one of those Master Tac's one day.  Really nice looking holsters that look very well made.  For $60 they are a bargain.  Just need to wait until I have more toys!
