    Glock 42

Well of course its going to be a 380, thats what everyone talks about when shot show rolls around. "I sure wish Glock would make a compact single stack 380 pistol, I would buy that in a heartbeat"
  2. Ditch the lacquer. Tumble them dry and throw them in the oven. Dolo is tumbling his in a brass tumbler, might try that. I am having good luck just using a bowl. Shake them around a little, dump them on a screen, shake out the excess powder, and put them in the oven. My bullets will melt with the oven temp set on 400, think I have my oven set on about 375.   http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/73808-powder-coating-the-super-duper-easy-way/   ETA-I used Crown brand lacquer thinner at first and didnt get good coverage, borrowed a partial can of KleenStrip brand from my Dad. Worked much better.
  3. I think what he meant by permanent, is guns that you think you should always have. And everything else is stuff you would like to have or stuff you dont mind trading/selling.   For me I dont know that I could do 10 as must haves. But I could do a few   Some kind of handgun-revolver or autoloader, which ever you like, in a common caliber Shotgun in 12ga or 20ga Autoloading rifle in a common caliber 22lr rifle and pistol, not really a must have for me but could be for others.   My list 9mm autoloader, Glock of course 12ga pump AK, but now getting into ARs I have a 22lr autoloading rifle no pistol, but dont shoot it much.
  4. Well its quit working again.
  5. Well I am still not sure the drive isnt bad. It would startup and you would see the "Dell" screen then it would be an all black screen and say "Boot device not available" or something like that. Which I thought meant the drive was dead. And I tried the drive in another computer, still didnt work. Then after a while it started working again, but all her folders were empty, rebooted to an earlier date and her folders weren't empty anymore. I still bet the drive is not going to make it, but maybe it will.IDK
  6. Since I restored it to an earlier date everything seems to be working fine, for now. Got all the data off it she wanted.
  7. I plan on building a 300blk pistol, I may leave it a pistol or make it a SBR depending how well I like it or not.

  11. When you go to the boot menu it doesnt show the hard drive and when I plug the hard drive into another computer it didnt show up on that one either. But it has started working a little bit now and it shows all of my moms files are gone, pictures mostly. Rebooted to known good configuration and pictures are there now. running spyware, malware, antivirus software now.
  12. 17wsm is rimfire, so probly not on the reloading.
  13. Just tried that no luck
  14. Figured I would ask on here before taking it to a repair shop. Hard drive went down in my Mom's computer. Is there a way  to get everything off the hard drive? Or is it just a total loss?
  15. Pretty sure current pricing is the new norm. I believe I saw a post by dlm37015 saying the russians had raised there prices. As far as military surplus, I dont think I have seen any 7.62x39 military surplus in a while. All the bear ammo, GT, wolf, tula, etc is current commercial production.   If you want an AK to shoot for less than .20/rd get a PSL or an AK74 and buy all the ammo you can find. Or cast your own bullets and reload for the 7.62x39
  16. Yep its way out of control. But this is so easy to fix, but people are to damn lazy to do anything about it.
  17. I have one, havent fired it much. But I have no complaints, seems to be a good gun.
  18. Shipped mine today
  19. I just picked up a Streamlight Strion LED for EDC. Added a universal clip draw for pocket carry. I am really liking this light.
  20. Yeah I'ld say you did good.
  21. They are good to go. My EDC is a Gen2 19
  22. The business owner is an idiot. That gay couples money spends just as good as the straight couple before them. Just like the place where I work, they have a big Appleseed poster in the front office. Its the first thing you see when you walk in the door. They also have had, in the past, handgun permit course sign and Romney campaign signs out front by the road. IMO, thats stupid. I may not agree with your politics or religion, but I sure as hell want your money.   But it should be his right to not make a cake for a gay wedding. This is another example of an out of control government. This is none of the governments business.
  23. THe OP's rifle doesnt have a tang. It is the russian style, left side folding stock. Completely different setup than a fixed stock or wire folder.   It may be a custom piece for that rifle, CQB. But I dont know.

  25. I have used titegroup, power pistol, and win231 for 9mm and I like all 3. They all seem to work good.
