I have a Kimber TLE II RL that has 500 flawless rounds through it. I would look around the boards, there are some good deals to be had.

Yes the elastic one sorry for not being clear. I have a smart carry that I use on the bike, but want a belly band to be able to carry my pistol at 4:00 position. I am a size 36 waist and if it was the right size, I would gladly pay you for it.

I use Triune saddle shop. They charge $30 out the door. $100 for Franklin gun shop? That is ridiculous!

I haven't shot IDPA for a while, but wouldn't both guns be in different classes? If that were the case I would choose whichever gun was in the class I wanted to shoot. Other than that I wouls choose the one most like whatever pistol you currently carry (train like you fight).

Glad you like it, I have been eyeing one of those for several weeks. Let us know how it shoots. On a side note, the Rabbi has always done me right.

Hard to go wrong with a Sig P220. One of the finest firearms made.

Look at a Sig P226 or P220 CPO. Check the summitgunbroker sight, they have used ones on there for a good price usually.

I will not carry a dirty gun. However if they are not going to be carried, a few days in the safe dirty does no harm.

Congrats. I bought my wife a new coat she has been wanting for a long time and after we got home from the store, she told me to order the Sig P228 I have been wanting.

Practice, practice, practice. Keep up the dry firing. Go shooting with a partner and do some ball and dummy drills. It will come with time and repetition. Start close until you are getting the kind of groups you want and then move back.

All things being equal, I think I would rather have the Walther PPS.

I held one at the gunshow. Liked the feel of it, but wanted to shoot one before I fork out the money. I also hate buying brand new guns.

I bought a Blackhawk leather IWB it had a good price and has worked well for the past year.

My mom went through this when she got her permit. She called Blade-Tech and they made her a paddle holster with the correct rake/spacing for a woman.

My wife carries the Glock 26. She really likes it and handles it well. It has the Pierce +1 extension on it.
