I've got a DPMS LR308 with 24" stainless steel barrel. It is without a doubt sub MOA. It wasn't much more than a grand brand new.

If the price was equal, which would you buy and why? I am wanting a small 9mm pistol to replace my LCP that I just got rid of. Not interested in the Kel Tec 9mm.

I have a Nikon D90 (I think) that I use at work. It does all that I need it to do, lost of low light stuffand closeups @ crimescenes.

I've had both and prefer the colt because it holds 6 shots. I have a DS-II in stainless.

I voted 19. It being your first handgun, you will want to shoot the heck out of it and 9mm is cheaper.

Walther P99 is a good gun. I will own one someday in 9mm. I have shot it several times (buddy has one). That being said, I do not think it is better than a G19 or an M&P. I would rate them all about the same, but the Walther is usually priced higher.

Get the INOX version. Seems to be less issues with the cracking. I have had 2 and they were scary accurate.

I looked into this. If you ramp the bolt on the 9mm upper, you do not have to change the lower "parts" and can still use it for .223 uppers.

I use 2 belts, 1 is a wilderess 1 3/4 inch instructors belt. The other is a wilson combat 1.5 inch sharkskin belt. I have had the wilson belt since 2001 and it still has 4-5 years left in it. Buy quality and you only cry once.

I got about 7 new dress shirts (really needed them) (3) Ties A new seat for my motorcycle Glock 23 from the wife. Also bought myself 400 rds 9mm and 150 rds of 7.62

A buddy of mine has one and I have shot about 100 rounds through it. I liked it but if I had a choice between the Ruger and a decent AK I would get the AK. Just personal preference.

I've shot both and prefer the AK. I like the mags better than the stripper clips. Like everyone says shoot them both if you can then make your mind up.
