  1. I have shot several of them and have owned a Ruger MkII for about 10 years. It is the best one in my opinion. I have the stainless model with the bull barrel
  2. I've got plans to build a 9mm AR SBR. Going to register a standard lower as SBR. Then build the upper, or buy. Going to have a ramped bolt so I do not have to change the hammer out and prob the hahn block because UZI mags are cheap, and I have some already. I am going with a 5.5-6 inch barrel with the intentions of suppressing it in the future. Then I am going to get an 11.5" 5.56 upper to go along with it. Ideally it would end up something like this: 9mm AR upper 5" 3-lug barrel w/ mag block *PRICE DROP* - AR15.COM I think this guy is a member here, and he has done it right...... If I had the money sitting around I would buy it right now. Hope this helps.
  3. I would go with the ESEE 5. It is on my list to buy. I have a SOG seal pup and Cold steel SRK, both are excellent knives.
  4. For the Kel-Tec and LCP it is hard to beat the plain old pocket clip.
  5. I'm going Friday "working" might come back Saturday on my own.

  7. I have an emerson with the "wave" feature. It works if you practice with it.
  8. Double check with Pritcharts, I stopped in there one day for a tour and they told me they didn't do them. This was about a year ago.
  9. My wife bought me one of these for Christmas when we were dating, I guess that had something to do with the marriage...........
  10. I have a buddy that went to NM last year and is going back this year. He hired a local guide for cheap and they saw alot of elk but he didn't bring one home (trophy hunting). He had some great stories and pictures. I hope to get to go some day.
  11. I was in the same situation with the Kahr vs Walther. I bought the PM9. I have not been disappointed. I pocket carry alot and that is why I went with the pm9. The walther is fine if you are going to carry it on your belt. I have shot both and both are excellent weapons.
  12. I read that book about a year ago. I highly recommend it. What an honor to meet someone like that.

  15. Do lots of slow dry firing practice and remember to follow through. Perfect practice makes perfect.
  16. I carry mine in a Mika until I can save up enough coin for the stella.
  17. I don't think you can find a better 9mm than the 228. Check them out on sigforum. You should be able to find a used one for around 550. As for the new ones with the rail, I think the best price I have seen is 879.
  18. O Brother Where Art Thou and Tombstone
  19. Take the beer can, drink half the beer, put holes in the top with a church key, then put 1-2 tablespoons of BBQ rub in the half empty beer. Take the chicken with skin on and baste with olive oil. Pour on some Garlic Salt and more BBQ rub then cook at 300-350 until done.
  20. A Marlin .35 Remington.
  21. I either pocket carry when riding or use a SmartCarry holster.
  22. I run MIL-TEC and then spray with rem oil. Ran a carbine instructor course @ 600 rds per day between cleanings with no problems.
  23. ST Take that vinegar out of the pork and substitute for tequila. Trust me you'll like it..
