  1. I dont like Beretta triggers so I vote glock, unless you can find an old school Sig P228.
  2. Sorry, in my review I forgot to mention the ####ty cupholders. Lost a route 44 sonic drink one time...
  3. I read the book. It was a good story, but I thought he was a terrible author. I also could have done without his wife's commentary.
  4. My wife had a 1997 4x4 with a v6. I pulled a bass boat with it for a couple of years and that thing ran like a top. We sold it when it reached 190k to my mother in law and she drove it a few years after that until she got t-boned in it. The only thing we ever did to it was 5k oil changes, put a new battery in it, and changed the timing belt once. It was fine but I read on the internet you should change it at xxx miles and did it. I can't remember when they recommended to change it. Ours had the automatic tranny in it.
  5. I'm going to vote Ruger MKII. I have the stainless one with the bull barrel and it has been great for about the 11 years I have owned it. I also have had really good luck with the Walther P22 if you wanted something a little smaller/lighter.
  6. I was skeptical at first, but this turned out to be a pretty entertaining show.
  7. Hard to beat a remington 870 with a 30" barrel and a synthetic stock ($300?) For an auto I would look at the synthetic stocked Beretta 390 wal-mart sells for around $550.

    H&K usp 9mm

I like em, carried a USP 40 fullsize for a couple of years when I first got my permit.
  9. What about the Kel-tec .32? Or a beretta .32 tomcat. The Beretta has a safety and the tip up barrel so she wouldn't have to rack the slide. Other than that I would have to recommend the Sig P238 or older Colt Mustang.
  10. I use a maxpedition Sitka. It has held up really well for the last 3 years. I'm pretty hard on stuff and use this bag every weekday at work and I can't even find any rips, tears, or frayed parts on it.

As far as a book about sniping, or long range shooting; you should look at the Ultimate Sniper by Plaster.
  12. I like Princes but I think pepperfire is better..
  13. I'm not big on westerns but he wrote Last of the Breed, which I thought was a good read.
  14. You mentioned getting the factory barrel threaded. Last time I checked, tornado stopped doing them. Do you have another source to get this done?
  15. OnTarget in Murfreesboro has an indoor rifle/pistol range range. Its on I-24 between there and here.
  16. I'm a big fan of benchmade autos..
  17. I've shot the .40 quite a bit. I like all of walther's products. I am a big fan of the PPS. I have yet to shoot a PPQ but it has alot of good reports. Mags are expensive for the P99.
  18. TVA Police I saw had sigs... Doesn't really matter now though....
  19. I got that knife for xmas. Very handy
  20. Price sounds good to me.
  21. Thats about 80-90% of Memphis..........
  22. 615-744-4000 They can answer all of your questions.
  23. I have had good luck at Rangemaster. Took level I-V when I was in college. I highly recommend them.
  24. Very nice work. I have to stay out of that store.....I have enough hobbies I can't afford.
  25. Man you can't go wrong with the PPS. I did a review on subcompact 9mm's and it really shined.
