  1. Thanks for the feedback. What’s a decent price on one? Seen a few on GB for 2000-2400
  2. Dang those are some good pics. Nice job
  3. Anyone have one, or shot one. I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts/opinions on the platform. Looking at 6.5creedmore for an upcoming hunt in Wyoming.
  4. I’ve got a council hatchet I keep in the truck and loan out as needed but the small forest axe from gransfors (or any of their products) is what you seek. I’ll never sell mine. if you are on a budget the husqvarna and stihl offerings are decent too along with the aforementioned council. Few coats of boiled linseed oil on the handles and you are good to go. One coat every day for a week. One coat every week for a month and one coat every month for a year.
  5. Are there any open GMRS repeaters in Nashville. Might check that first.
  6. Those tac-tx bullets, especially the 120s get it done at close/medium ranges in 300bo. That’s what my hunting buddies shoot.
  7. Wow. Nice comparison pics.
  8. I’ve been renting cabins at various state parks and hitting the “trails” in the various state forests. Some are decent. Most are pretty tame but lots of nice scenery and very little traffic. Here’s my rig but dang those FJ40s are sweet.
  9. My brother runs the Primary Arms SLx6 1-6x24 on his 300 blackout. I’ve shot it some and the glass was fine. No issues.
  10. The struggle is real.
  11. Get the marlin. And I’m telling you with 100% certainty the 30-30 is a stone cold killer of hogs. I use a 160grn ftx bullet and it has NEVER failed to deliver.
  12. You can eat them. Find the ones you shoot that don’t smell rank and follow these instructions, especially the cooler part.
  13. Good work! Elk is some of my favorite meat glad you got one.
  14. It’s a Pulsar Trail XP50. I think it will record 4hrs video. I download the videos to my phone via WiFi and an ap. Gun is an 18” 6.5 Grendel.
  15. Nice trip. Few I piled up in Arkansas last weekend. FullSizeRender.mov
  16. Here’s some closeups
  17. Buddy of mine has these, anyone know anything about them?
  18. I really like the 22 mag caliber. The more I get to shoot it the more I like it. Nothing against the others.
  19. Storm Spotters/ Damage reports will be on here. http://www.mtears.org/ could also listen to 155.340 and 155.205 for ems comms. I think life flight and air evac are on vhf and uhf conventional respectively so you should be able to monitor them also. Check the radio reference site.
  20. Those are some pigs
  21. I like my 6920 good rifle.
  22. I have a couple single sixes but I favor my single 9 in 22mag. The ratshot in the 22m does an acceptable job on undesirable reptiles of the poisonous variety. The LR version just didn’t get it done a few times.
  23. Man. I've got a short list of pistols I must have and this one is on it. I've shot one once and it left me impressed.
  24. Kings firearms in Columbia is.
  25. Very nice. Love the 27s.
