Shug, I switched to one after I was in the military for my class III weapons. Let me dig in the class III section, I know there is a thread on this somewhere. Is he wanting to put all his firearms in a trust or just his NFA items (silencers, sbr/sbs, mg's, aows, etc?) Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

This is the best news I have heard in at least an hour and a half. There should be a viewing party. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I shot one once. A buddy brought it to the range. 44mag. It was a blast and a change of pace to most of the guns we had. If you are a collector and just like owning different guns, I'd say go for it. If you are just starting our or want one for a very practical use...your money could probably be spent elsewhere. One day I'll impulsively buy one I'm sure. If I do I'll go 45LC. I have other platforms in 45lc and 44mag, i just figure a little cowboy lookin gun should have a cowboy cartridge. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I'll try those rounds on my next ammo order. I have the 8 inch rods, when I take it apart today I'll shoot you a pic. My benelli is finicky with all ammo so I'm not gonna blame the can yet. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I think AAC was actually designing one and doing something like that with different baffle inserts for multi caliber. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Yeah I think I am going to pick up a sbs this fall and put the 6 inch on it for my wife's HD gun. Just to take the bite off of buck shot going off indoors. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I will reserve my rant about how badly the ATF jacked up all this paperwork for another time and just be happy it showed up. My buddy said it looks like a muffler on a toothpick, but it is a blast to shoot. I haven't run any 00 buck, just target load, but I was impressed. This is trust time but the check was cashed in early April and came back Friday. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

The wait is killing me

Man those clowns have their head so far up there ass...I called about a few on Friday and they told me that one was still pending...then 45 minutes later the gun store called me and said, "your paperwork is ready." Then the other two I was waiting on have been cleared for 6 weeks but they lost the paperwork. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk -
What is the ATF doing down there???

THIS IS AWESOME...I finally called to check on the status of a few form 4s I dropped in March. The lady on the phone said they were approved SIX WEEKS AGO!!! And I quote, "call your dealer, we have been having some mail issues. They can request another form." I called the good people at Everything Weapons and they told me they had received paperwork from the ATF that was opened (unsealed). Everything Weapons is checking on it now for me...ATF, mail issues indeed. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk -
Some of the t shirts they discontinued. They do have a geissele trigger in stock. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

For those of you that bought cans last year and received your $200 rebate, you know AAC has been out of stock of almost everything in there inventory. This week they put a bunch of stuff back online...t shirts, muzzle brakes, flags, hats, brakeout tool, etc. They still don't have barrels, BCGs, rails, most of the good stuff...but if you're tired of holding onto your rebate at least you can get some swag.

Nothing like the gov't rolling out a $100 million project that took an uneducated, dirt worshipping caveman a month to figure out a way to destroy it with 40 lbs of HME. Even with the UIK upgrade and the rpg net those things are death traps. If I had the choice of a HMMWV for a farm truck or whatever you would use it for for civilian purposes I'd save the $$$ and put a turret on a Polaris or an old Jeep. Especially an old GI one... Buying a vehicle assigned to an 19 year old PVT for 10 years is like buying a rent-a-car or marrying a hooker. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

The Maxxpros are by far the best. Our RG31 took a gnarly blast so I won't completely discredit it but they drive like a bus. That Maxxpro is like rolling around in an Escalade. All the bells and whistles. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

FFL that will take transfer from private party in Nashville
WarPig replied to 1madss's topic in General Chat
Yeah, I don't know of anyone on this side of town that does it. When I lived in CO nobody did it until it was mandatory. It wasn't worth the retailer's time. Then it became law for private sale and everyone got in the business at $50 a head. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk -

My e filed form 1's went through in about 60 days. I have 4 hard copy form 4's in right now...the first 2 were done in the first week of April. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk -
Yep. I killed one two years ago with the same scars. She kept jumping and catching the top line of barb wire to get into my granddads plot. I found traces of fur a few times in the summer and she had the same scars in the fall. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

So I have a Form 1 addiction

Always make questionable financial decisions when deployed. Especially if you're married. The excitement of having you back trumps your decision making process. Especially if hazard pay is involved. That's how I got my Jeep finished. -
So I teach a handful of classes in the Tennessee area to include home defense, intro to pistol/rifle/shotgun, CCW 1 (basically "I've got my carry permit, now what?") etc. I am trying to build criteria before expanding to advanced classes. A buddy of mine just called me yesterday and asked if I taught or knew of a class that taught situational awareness or like "SERE light" for international travel where you can't carry, you're unfamiliar with the land/language/customs, etc. His sister-in-law is leaving for Europe and is a "head in the clouds" young female and he didn't want her playing center stage on the set of Taken 4. My sister in law got in a jam in France two years ago and it got me thinking about it but I never followed up. So I am looking for material on the subject. Most of my knowledge has to do with war zone, most likely armed, being hunted by individuals who were undoubtedly trying to cause injury/death, and survival in the elements. I don't have much formal training on urban survival, especially in an area where you can't be armed, don't know the language, have unknown threats...and the list goes on. I have the basics for safe travel but I know there has to be someone out there that has dedicated a lot of time and effort into this subject. I'm hoping for a book, DVD, I'd even go as far as to travel for a class on it. If anyone has suggestions I'd be eternally grateful. (eternally may be strong, I'd be much appreciative.)

1) you always worry about the nads. ALWAYS. 2) I actually am looking for a "weak side" knife because I am ambidextrous but the world taught me to be right handed. So my EDC knife and pistol are right side but if i throw a punch I am left handed (I shoot a rifle left, a pistol right, and everything else I improvise) I carry my flashlight left but I was with some friends a few weeks ago and some clowning around led me to realize if my arm is held strong side I need a way to make the bad man stop. SO I need a quick weak side (but strong side swinging) carry. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

The biggest "push" (oh I said it) for me is the sheath. I don't want to put anything near the family jewels without the right protective gear. I wore a 38 for a while in some Thunderwear but I quit for procreation's sake. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
