  1. I looked at it yesterday (actually looked at it a few days ago if its the same one and was bitching at a manager about a scuff on it to discuss discounts) Here is what I suggest. Buy one that is twice as big as you currently need (by actual size, not what some manufacturer says will fit) then as your collection grows either sell the safe or better use it to store ammo and buy a new safe that you can grow into again. No point in getting a 4k safe with 3k worth of guns. Trust me...especially with the "she" comment. Grow slow. Make a little more $$$ and upgrade. You will finally get her to where I have my wife, saying "Oh hell! Just buy the good one so I dont have this conversation in 18 months!!" Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  2. I moved a lot in the past 7 years. It was on the government dime most of the time, a huge perk when moving because those 2 months get tight quick. I rented a uhaul on the one I had to lay for and asked for assistance. For like $400, 2 pizzas and a 12pk those guys had me out of my old house and in a new one. And damages were insured. You cant beat it. This was in CO so I cant refer anyone...but we packed up the small stuff and they loaded the small and large stuff and unloaded within 5 hours with 3 dudes and my wife and a few girls. I was in a sling at the time which is why i went with this option. I will never move my own stuff again. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  3. I saw that when I was in there. Its just too hard for retail stores to compete with online purchases most times. I like to support local when its a small difference. Royal Range has a Salvo12 for just under $1100 and I got one on a fire sale at Capitol for $750 out the door. They do have a great selection though. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks for all the advice, guys. I went ahead and picked one up out of morbid curiosity. A buddy said if I dont like it he will buy it from me. I like the necker idea. That CS super edge is awesome. So thanks, now I have to go out and buy 3 more. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  5. I buy most of mine through Capitol Armory in Texas or Silencer Shop and form 3 them to Everything Weapons. EW has some good deals on some (I bought a AAC SR7 back at Christmas) but those big companies will run sales on holidays and you can get stupid deals. Worth the extra 6 weeks of transfer in most cases. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  6. Oh son...they'll give you a gun at the state line. Welcome home. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  7. Awesome. Thanks. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah it is not what it was a decade ago. When I was in college up there you could find some steals. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

  10. That was absolutely not supposed to be a question mark. Stupid fingers. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  11. Nashville Armory does. I got a Benchmade in there a few months ago. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  12. Everyone thinks you're crazy for carrying in your house until shit like this goes down. That was five miles or so from where I live. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I have a M&P and I'm not a hater. But that grip is not comparable. I've never felt a slide grip like this. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  15. Jeff, missed you at lunch today. Goooood stuff. What so you have an SSA-E in? I have one i was contemplating putting in my CMMG 308. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  16. My dad was in the same boat. I used John Wells for mine. Another A+ lawyer for this. He will help during and after for any needs. He is south of Nashville. You said southeast so I am assuming you are looking for someone near Chattanooga? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

  18. Makes you wonder if they are trying to push a competitor out or if they are trying to dump inventory for something new. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  19. I swear like 3 companies have emailed me about a geissele sale this weekend. They must have done a promo for their vendors. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  20. +1 on this. I keep the originals in my gun safe and keep a binder of copies in my truck. And don't name your trust something that will get your PeePee slapped when John Law comes around like "The Government I Don't..Trust" or something. On my binder I even posted my name and this to make sure they know we are playing for the same team. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  21. Off roading a Toyota is ALWAYS more expensive. But it was a hobby my wife and bank account were happy to see go. My busted shoulder was happy to see it go as well. As I creep into my older years stock vehicles and quiet guns have become a staple. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  22. Having a gun habit and a 4wd habit leads to...well babies for us. And then losing a habit. Sacrifices my friend. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  23. Dude I just got back from the dealership...we are trading my truck in and I'm taking over my wife's 4runner. I got in it and she said, "before you even think about doing some dumb $hit to this, you are only allowed one bad habit at at time. Remember the Jeep??" Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  24. Thats what I had mine on but between the T1 and the flashlight I couldn't make room. Having an sbr really makes a gear junkie become a minimalist! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  25. Ok I know i read one on here but dang if I can't find it. So here are the pros. I was in the Army but I paid taxes in Tennessee as my home of residency and used my parents address. Because I moved all the time and often to states that were not friendly for NFA items, it was easier to do a trust and make my dad a co trustee, meaning they could stay at his house at the residence without me and nobody would get in trouble if I wasn't there and lets say the ATF showed up (unlikely) or we got robbed (more likely). And when I was stationed in a place that was gun friendly, i could fill out the temporary transfer and take it for a few months and keep it at my house in another state since I was a trustee as well. For $200 its totally worth it. In most cases it has made transfers go a lot faster as well. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
