  1. Well just checked mine and it's under approved finalized 1/27 right now but when you download the file it says submitted. So maybe it'll be done tomorrow if not i'll email the experts
  2. People that filed the same date and after my 2nd SBR are getting approved now. Should be soon!
  3. John wells is great. Just got my approval today with a trust he did for me
  4. 7/28 form 1 sbr trust application 11/30 approval
  5. Whatever you do. don't "build" an AR before you know it you'll have 5 . That ruger AR will be great .
  6.   Thanks I'm starting to see things come in around when I filed so I probably won't have it for Thanksgiving weekend but the December weekends I can hunt hopefully good to go
  7. The ATF sends an email when it's done right? or have people seen its approved before an email? What I'm getting at is should I keep checking or wait until the 130 day mark to login and check again
  8. I went to Afghanistan for work and got to shoot one of those it appears. We met with a Green beret unit and they let us shoot a bunch of stuff and one of them was a 308 suppressed that looked just like one of those. Got to shoot some distance that I've never shot before. Cool rifle though
  9. I was hoping to have it before thanksgiving and go hog blasting but if it's going to be around 130 days or so then may have to wait :(
  10. I'm at 98 days total (not work days) so hopefully it's soon on my form 1 SBR or is the 120  days everyone is saying work days?
  11. American eagle FMJ online for 9.99 and you can find 115 fusions for 17-18 in store and online (rare in store but I have before)    I think I may end up transitioning to the 68 SBR but for this season it'll be the 300!    Went by AH reloading and got some 300 supplies. Friendly and good prices
  12. Anyone have or shot a YHM Ultra light suppressor?
  13. Put in my paperwork for another SBR so will end up just having a 300 and 6.8 hah    I THINK i maybe done with NFA stuff for a bit.
  14.   Where i hunt in Alabama. If i had one AR it would be a 11.5 or 10.5 6.8 SBR with quick Detach Suppressor Because I don't shoot over 175 yards and  the 6.8 is capable further than the 300. It's a more powerful round and more of a do it all gun it seems like. Plus it's been very very accurate for me.    The reason I bought the 300 was I had ordered the 6.8 in 16" and didn't know that SBR'ing was as easy as it was. Since i had at 16" on the way I figured go with the shortest gun I could that made sense. The 300 will do everything I need but the 6.8 will do it a little better. I eventually may sell the 300 or sell the 16"6.8 upper and go with a 6.8 SBR and have two SBRs   Bison said 8.5" barrel in 6.8 wouldn't be great for the suppressor and noise.  the 10.5 or 11.5 gives the powder enough time to burn off, but the 300 is fine with the short barrel. I wanted something as compact as possible. In case I bring my bolt gun along too    The Pros for 300 were- Shorter barrel  Cons less range    6.8 Pros- cheaper ammo if buying factory and more range and punch  Cons Longer barrel plus suppressor
  15. Yeah. It'll be good to go for next fall 2016 hunting I suppose.    By Then I'll figure out if I want to keep my 300 blk out SBR or do a 6.8 SBR
  16. Ended up ordering AAC sr-7 via silencer shop and local pick up. It was almost too easy.
  17. looks good!
  18. Where do ya'll get your suppressors in Nashville? I'm waiting on my SBR paperwork to come in and have a 7.62 suppressor that will work for now once the paperwork goes through but in building the rifle I want... I'll need(want) a  QD 6" suppressor. I have a QD surefire for my 5.56 and luxury of that makes me want the same for the SBR.    Going on a future 300 blk out SBR and it'll be exclusive to that but might as well get a 7.62
  19. ugh. I've E filed a Form 1 on 7/28 If i can get mine before 109 days that'd be perfect

    Ruger 22/45

went and shot today. A new trigger would be nice. Forgot my screw driver to adjust to the sights so just sprayed the paper and doing some break in.      Shot my Bison armory 6.8 today / break in. That thing is sweet

    Ruger 22/45

I don't shoot 22 that much and a box of 500 will last me awhile or it used to.  I don't shoot much paper either, but this seems like a cheaper alternative then 9mm or something. Most of my shooting is at deer and pigs but this just seemed like something everyone could enjoy. Friends, family etc.    If this is the last box of 22 on the planet then I'll have fun shooting it with my new pistol.

    Ruger 22/45

Well went by everything weapons this am to get a new bolt catch for an AR build and walked out with a black Ruger 22/45 lite.  Looks like I'm going to be forced to buy a suppressor for it
