Use a 6.8 for the exact same thing you are doing. Tried the 300 blackout but it didn't kill the hogs as quick if they are over 175 yards . I could hear it hit them and they'd run off never to be seen again. Getting 6.8 ammo for $19-$21 for hunting rounds and the mags work great. Never tried the 6.5

Picked up the TBAC suppressor. This thing is awesome! 

If anyone needs  a draft removed you can download a trial of adobe pro i believe and you can remove it. I did that and also had the atf send me a copy on their end of the draft removed and the date never changed as some have had before.    Also just got the call my stamp for the TBAC suppressor is in  Silencer Shop  Check cashed 12/7/15 Stamp arrived 4/14/16

I know this it isn't memphis but Ident marking does a great job and are in the business of engraving Ar's. 

you can get 6.8 FMJ's for 9.99 a box  and hunting rounds for $21 a box . Much cheaper than 300blk out 

I had a sig 716 that I thought I'd hunt with and shoot long range . Neither happened because my bolt guns were better for long range and my other Ar's were so much lighter and could kill deer and pigs just as well I sold the sig with barely any rounds shot through it and haven't looked back. If you aren't going to shoot insuppressed maybe go down the rabbit hole of 6.8 even though all my Ar's I shoot are super sonic with a suppressor I have a 8.5 300 blk out that I've killed some big hogs and deer at range. I love how small the 300 is and the Barnes 110 black tip is the bullet for the gun. My 11.5 6.8 is great too and has a bit more punch farther out . It's the perfect round for where I hunt In Alabama I vote a big no on the 308 and yes on 300 blk. Out or 6.8

Well just checked mine and it's under approved finalized 1/27 right now but when you download the file it says submitted. So maybe it'll be done tomorrow if not i'll email the experts 

People that filed the same date and after my 2nd SBR are getting approved now. Should be soon!

Whatever you do. don't "build" an AR before you know it you'll have 5 . That ruger AR will be great .

  Thanks I'm starting to see things come in around when I filed so I probably won't have it for Thanksgiving weekend but the December weekends I can hunt hopefully good to go 

The ATF sends an email when it's done right? or have people seen its approved before an email? What I'm getting at is should I keep checking or wait until the 130 day mark to login and check again

I went to Afghanistan for work and got to shoot one of those it appears. We met with a Green beret unit and they let us shoot a bunch of stuff and one of them was a 308 suppressed that looked just like one of those. Got to shoot some distance that I've never shot before. Cool rifle though 

I was hoping to have it before thanksgiving and go hog blasting but if it's going to be around 130 days or so then may have to wait :(

I'm at 98 days total (not work days) so hopefully it's soon on my form 1 SBR or is the 120  days everyone is saying work days?

American eagle FMJ online for 9.99 and you can find 115 fusions for 17-18 in store and online (rare in store but I have before)    I think I may end up transitioning to the 68 SBR but for this season it'll be the 300!    Went by AH reloading and got some 300 supplies. Friendly and good prices 

Anyone have or shot a YHM Ultra light suppressor? 

Put in my paperwork for another SBR so will end up just having a 300 and 6.8 hah    I THINK i maybe done with NFA stuff for a bit.
