  1. Yeah, I did call S&W today and informed them of the problem. They're going to send me a return form to send it in for repair. They seemed to be familiar with the problem and did not ask a lot of questions. Maybe this will resolve the problem.
  2. Thanks a lot for the info. I'll check out the You Tube video.
  3. Just got a new Shield .40 cal. Took it to the range and the mag would come loose during firing. I thought maybe I was accidently hitting the mag release, but I've never done that with my other handguns. So I had 2 other people fire it and same thing happened with them. The mag didn't fall all the way out, just popped loose enough to stop the ammo from feeding. Anyone else had this happen?
  4. I have a couple of Ace Case holsters and Ilike them a lot. They're only about 10 bucks .
  5. Got my Shield 40 at Hero Gear in Winchester a couple weeks ago. Really like it. I've been carrying a Kahr CW40 for years. Gotta get used to having a safety now. I use an Ace Case IWB holster (about $ 10.00 on the web) and it fits the same holster so I order another Ace Case for it.
  6. I went to this little restaurant on the square in Winchester the other day for lunch and about the time they set my food in front of me I noticed a sign behind the lunch counter that said something to the effect of " gunfire can ruin your day, leave your guns at home". There was nothing posted on the door, so I just kept eating. That was a pretty lame attempt to keep armed customers out, but I figured if the owners of these places don't want me to legally carry in their establishments, I'll spend my money somewhere else. I've quit patronizing several places because of the little signs on the door.
  7. Last year Milan PD traded all their .357 SIG, Glock 31 & 32's in for .40 S&W Glock 22 and 23's
  8. I think it would be a good idea for us to contact our STATE senators and representatives and ask them to vote to override the Governor's veto of this bill. They have the power to override and I heard on the news this morning that they may consider that option as early as this Monday (June1). I have already emaioled by State Rep. and Senator here in W TN today asking them to override his veto. It's worth a shot if they get enough feedback.
