  1. Just did their informal review and gave them some current home sale data from my neighborhood with similar comps. I really wasn't expecting a drop at all, but rather a response of "looks good to us, now pay your taxes". I think 4/30/09 was the deadline to submit a request for an informal review. From there you could appeal again, if you wanted to.
  2. got my "re-appraisal" appraisal back. Original one went Up about 6k, now we are about 8K lower than the original. WooHoo Now I will pay fewer taxes than before! YEAH!
  3. IWB STRIKE [iWB Strike] - $67.00 : Don Hume Leathergoods, manufactures high quality leather and nylon goods. This one is tuckable, or for a little more go with a Galco UDC (Ultra Deep Cover). They don't make one specifically for the G19, but I can fit my G23 into my holster for the G27 (yes the barrel will come out of the holster a bit)
  4. I'll second the Don Hume, the wife has one and loves it. She has this one: H715-M W.C. [H715-M] - $29.30 : Don Hume Leathergoods, manufactures high quality leather and nylon goods.
  5. Badges? We don't need to stinkin' badges!! Sry, couldn't resist
  6. hey man, prayers sent for your buddy. Keep us posted
  7. Give your little one a pat on the back for a job well done, then, do as others have said, go tell the "guidance" teacher to pound sand. I will be getting my soon to be 5 yr old her own cricket soon.
  8. um, so going to the mall is "unsafe" because people can have guns there, how about the grocery store? geesh, some people need to get a clue. It's NOT the people with a HCP that you need to worry about, it's those that carry illegally (gang bangers, thugs, thieves, etc.) If the people that thing only police should have guns, that no civilian should be able to carry, would all move to Chicago that would be nice. I mean after all, all handguns are banned in Chicago right? There's not gun crime there right?
  9. Wow, that was COOL.
  10. hmm, I run FF at home, on the laptop, and at work and I don't have this problem. I can navigate through every page on TGO without having to sign in again. What version of FF are you running?
  11. It may not work, but if you were using the card as a MasterCard, not a debit card, then go to MC and tell them that PP is denying your use of you MC. I may be wrong, but if your card has a Visa or MC logo on it, the issuer has to follow the rules of Visa & MC.
  12. Funny (no, not really, but yet it is), my dad had a belt buckle that would do the same thing. How he traced the problem to his buckle I don't know. If he put his hand over the buckle as he walked through the sensors nothing would happen, but if he left the buckle exposed the alarms would go off. I'll have to see if my mom still has the buckle, oh the fun I could have
  13. Congrats - the wife and I did the DR thing as well. Took us about 5 yrs but we managed to pay off all our debts (except the house) and I've been slowly building the full EF. My wife even left her job to take one that paid less than half of what she was making, and it really didn't hurt us. Our biggest "log jam" was just getting the first debt paid off, once that happened the snowball really got going. To those that are trying to get their debt paid off, keep working at it, it's well worth it to finally be able to yell "FRRREEEEEDDDOOOOOMMMMMMMM"
  14. You need to use this affidavit if you claim a gift or "low price" on a vehicle or boat transfer in TN. http://state.tn.us/revenue/forms/sales/f1301201.pdf I've used this once in getting my dads boat, and will be using in June when I take possession of my dads truck from my mom. I am not paying anything for the truck and I wont be taxed the blue book value when using this form.
  15. If you go the Lee Deluxe 4 Hole Turret Press Kit with Auto Index, then you should not need the hand primer. You got this kit right? I didn't see any mention of a reloading manual, get one or two, or 3 and read before you start. That kit is the one I started with. I removed the indexing bar and used the press as a single stage until I was comfortable with reloading (didn't take long). Good luck, stay safe, and have fun!
  16. Just an FYI, for anyone that wants some 5gal buckets to use for food (or any other) storage, Lowes has some on clearance. $2.83 per bucket, they are food grade (checked with mfg website) I picked up a few and I will be putting away some wheat and rice shortly with some beans to follow.
  17. I got my vest from these guys, great to work with. Use there "guide" online to get your measurements, then call them up. They will tell you what is in stock for your size.
  18. Sorry to hear about your grandfather, you know I've been there recently. Let me know if there is anything I can do. Prayers for you and your family.
  19. I have bought mine from Sportsman's Warehouse (hacks cross & Winchester) before, but lately their shelves are pretty much bare. I'm planning on doing an online order, but I need to order enough to cover the hazmat fee.
  20. I started with the Lee Deluxe Turret kit, then found a steal of a deal on a Dillon SQD, and now I just got in trade a RCBS. All are in use, though the Dillon see's more use since it's for the .40 & 9mm loads
  21. Try this http://accurateshooter.wordpress.com/2007/06/15/how-cartridge-brass-is-made/
  22. Yup, and the original magazine did the same thing with both of them. And to tell you the truth, I notice no difference between the 2 springs
  23. I have a mosquito, and it is not picky on the ammo at all. I've had 4 FTF (and that was in the first 40 rounds). My only complaint is that the one mag that came with the gun has an issue when shooting the recommended CCI Mini-Mags. When the 9th round fires and the case is ejected the 10th round ejects as well and the slide closes like it chambered the 10th round. I bought 2 magazines, and neither of them do this. Mine has the threaded barrel for a future suppressor
  24. UPS just dropped off my 3 mags WOOHOO
