  1. I don't think it will be held near the airport. UPS has a "hub" in bartlett, near the sams club, that will probably be where your package will be held. I had to go there to get my Survival rifle when Henry shipped it back. Didn't know it was coming until I got the delivery attempt. Called the number on the tag, then went to the hub and picked it up. Just make sure you bring your delivery attempt tag and ID, otherwise you'll go home with nothing. And I was glad I picked up my rifle. The packaging was plain as day that it included a rifle.
  2. Bravo Company has them in stock: AR-15 Lower Parts Kit
  3. ok, so i'm resurrecting a very old thread, I know I'm looking for someplace near Memphis, within about an 1hrs drive to do some fishing. I've been to Herb Parson's, with very little luck. I would prefer a lake that was not TWRA managed, but it's not a requirement. Thanks in advance for any information my fellow anglers can provide.
  4. I have carried glocks in a Serpa holster for well over a year now, and taken several classes at Range USA. Not once did I have a ND, nor did I shoot myself. I also just looked at my serpa holster, it does NOT have that little plastic piece referenced in the picture. And yes, I've heard the stories of trained professionals shooting themselves while using the BH Serpa holster. The first thing that I think of is the line from that DEA video clip "I am the only one professional enough in this room to handle this gun"... BANG. Just goes to show that even professionals can make mistakes. I have tried to get my finger on the trigger while using my serpa lock, the only way it happens is if I physically move my finger down approx a 1/2" to get it into the trigger guard.
  5. Not always true. Had a can of tomato sauce that when the can open pierced the can there was a definite "exhale" of air not an "inhale". The can was within 1 month of it's "expiration" date and there was no physical damage to it. With canned foods one way to tell if they are bad it to press down on the top & bottom, if you hear a "click, click" and can feel the top or bottom go in, then there is prolly pressure in the can - not a good sign.
  6. I would think a Tuesday night most restaurants aren't too busy, but I could be totally wrong. Outback would be good, what about Logan's Road House, by wolfchase? I guess it would depend on what type of atmosphere you were looking for. The wife favorite restaurant is Macaroni Bar & Grill by wolf chase.
  7. Right now, my father-in-laws '94 F150 since he had shoulder surgery and can't drive a manual transmission for a while. In about 2 weeks I'm picking up my "new" truck, an '87 F150 super cab, with only 88k miles on it. Too bad there rust on the body and the paint is chipping off, oh well, can't beat the price.
  8. OK, time to schedule a gather at your favorite restaurant on 7/14/09, and everyone that goes must be packin' !!!!
  9. Effective date for the law is 40days from today, that SUCKS July 14th
  10. OK, Great speech, lots of good points.... TIME TO VOTE!!!!
  11. How much you wanna bet these chiefs were called by the media, but when they showed their support of the bill the media decided not to include anything from them?
  12. Why is the speaker "chanting" about Mr. Miller? I feel like I'm back in church.
  13. good one!!
  14. Very interesting, to say the least!
  15. Well, what happened with the call?
  16. Just do what a guy in my neighborhood did with his accord. Get ONE spinner at a time and have it installed. In no time you'll have a matching set. Yes over the course of 2 months this guy added one spinner to his car every couple of weeks. BTW, Good luck with your job hunt!

    Wolverine

I thought movie was good. Not being into comic books I don't know the history of the characters, so that helps in making it "just a movie, and watching for the entertainment". Now, was I the only one thinking "Well, there goes the rifling in that gun" when Striker fired the adamantium bullets into Wolverine?
  18. OK, back on subject... Just follow the directions. Put the trigger assembly on the ring that came with the siderlock and tap it out. The pin will make it's own hole. It is not that hard to install the siderlock, I have done it before (not to my gun however).
  19. Try here: SIG Mosquito 22LR 10RD magazine - Top Gun Supply This is where I got my 2 spares from. I was having mag problems, but not like yours. Using the factory mag, and shooting CCI mini-mags, the 10 round would "eject" out when the 9th round was shot. Got 2 replacement mags and they don't have that problem.
  20. Prayers sent for you and your family I lost my dad last year to cancer, just 11 months after his diagnosis.
