  1. This is the latest issue I'm noticing. We started with hand sanitizer and washing hands. But when we moved on to the mask the former took a backseat and now you have people wearing around a catch all funk rag. Not to mention the masks are now littering up everything like cigarette butts. But I guess that's O K Makes me wonder what we are preventing and what we are prolonging
  2. Well different stores have different standards as to what's considered saleable produce. Or at least I have to believe that after seeing first hand for years the difference between a layout at a Food City v. Kroger v. Walmart etc. When they run those commercials where they claim we as a country throw away some outrageous amount of food I believe they forget to mention a lot of that food never leaves the store because of a multitude of reasons. Careless shoppers beat the hell out of tender veg such as zucchini and yellow squash and when I come up on it I pass it by because of that. Eventually it winds up in clearance behind plastic wrap which breaks it down further and at a faster pace. From there it gets sent to the giant slop bucket where some other company carts it off to feed animals or rot back into the earth. Sorry to derail the thread but food waste and how good we have it here is the USA is a touchy spot for me. I use to do a ton of catering and food service and have seen it first hand
  3. My biggest gripe there would be the produce. I've seen some rough azz veggies laying in the bins and I'd lose my temper if I did a drive up service and arrived home to find produce that looked beat to hell. I've witnessed employees of these grocery stores pushing around the giant plastic bins with order forms picking orders. Some look like they are picking as if it were for their family and others are just going through the motions. So the hit or miss you speak of aligns with what I've witnessed.
  4. Not sure about Target but Kroger Food City and Walmart have been very adamant about promoting their drive up service since March when all this fired up. My sister does Krogers weekly and the queue went from hours to days when the shutdown hit. Even home improvement places have offered to send employees out to your car to help you.
  5. I plan on waiting outside and just taking someone elses food. Adventure dining
  6. When experts say theres a lot that's unknown about the virus it's not a far stretch to believe theres gonna be a decent % of misdiagnosis, mislabeled deaths, etc.
  7. Second that emotion. That's faux bbq at its finest
  8. Is it still considered open carry if you mount the AR to the buggy ?
  9. Aren't the swarms of nascafarians upon you this weekend @Raoul ?
  10. Huge Zep head here. Heartbreaker is 1 of several of their songs that sounds normal and easy but is a musical feat. Kashmir, black dog, levee breaks, Achilles last stand, all insane musical works that wouldn't be possible without the talent of that group, especially Bonzo.
  11. My understanding was if any FFL has one "on the books" (bought it through his/her FFL) that it would be ran when it sold and maybe on the intake if from a private seller. At least thats how my FFL does it. Regardless make no mistake if its stolen it will wind up in the hands of the local PD and from there, well, good luck
  12. Multiple companies are looking for volunteers to test the vaccine in case anyone wants to step up. They'll make you famous
  13. Is that where you just mix it in your mouth ? Shake you head like a boxer bulldog with a itching ear ?
  14. I have seen boutique shops use a syringe to fill these but for what they cost I'd be better off with a bag of Hershey kisses and some Talisker
  15. Lol, glad someone other than me remembers the " he doesn't have a chance in hell " to " well I voted 3 party anyway"
  16. Agreed, however, had his rival won a great many of us would have already had to make a choice to turn in certain "pieces" or become instant felons because something like this would have already been passed. I have zero faith that anyone in DC could have stopped it.
  17. According to my last 2 distillery tours chocolate seems to be a good mate with whiskey. And these were centuries old distilleries
  18. Houses are selling within 1-3 days of listing according to a buddy that does a lot in Sevierville and surrounding. Neighbor overpriced theirs by 10k and sold it within 2 days and had people waiting, as you made reference to. I got lucky because the new owner is just like me which is, um, unique . And yes SAFE in the singular sense should be followed by IN THAT ROOM meaning there are others in the house
  19. An edible bottle should be what they aim for
  20. I hope he didn't reproduce before departing
  21. I am this (l) (l) close to buying that setup. The tool crib is littered with FUEL tools now as I lucked up and bought out a dealer a couple years back. That pole saw and the chainsaw keeps calling me.
  22. As of today we have tested just over 1 million Tennesseans with 60,000 positives.
