Not that it matters but did you buy this at a local shop @TGO David? Didn't know if a shop owner would have any better luck reducing the turnaround time.

EDITED- after a quick search your issues are because of Nevada law and NOT federal regulations. 1) thats something specific to NV and maybe other states. 2) according to what I could find NV charges $25 per BGC and last time I paid in TN it was $10. 3) another gem from NV and at least a couple other states adopted this practice.

I've collected levers for decades and prices for most aren't that far off. As i tell others just now discovering their price tag you better get what you want before it gets even more expensive
