  1. It's not helped matters that our Lt. gov has also become two faced about gun legislation in more recent times. I'm not feeling warm and fuzzy about the future of the state when it comes to this issue.
  2. Headed to Lebanon next week for a turn and burn. I can meet up with all you middle procrastinators $500 for this fine Marlin deer killer. Check out my other ads
  3. Different mechanics internally. But based on what you are doing a 73 can be better than a 94.
  4. Same special as fathers day but ill include a sparkler and bic lighter
  5. Just telling another member about this gun earlier this week. Congrats ! I expect a range report
  6. FWIW that link you posted doesn't show anything
  7. Thanks for clarifying . Good luck on your hunt
  8. Howdy
  9. Yep total chop job. Those pics confirmed it for me. But that being said enjoy your 3 inch shooter
  10. Well I've seen some "custom" front sights grafted on V models over the years or cut up from an original so I wouldn't declare it a custom gun just by that but clearly that's one thing that sticks out to me. If I recall there should be an S stamping on the frame, perhaps under the left grip panel, that is to say the left side if you are pointing the gun away from you. I believe it could also be on the frame under the cylinder crane but don't hold to me that one. I'm going from what I remember reading. That won't indicate a barrel modification just that it was sent back for modification at some point. Some of these guns during that time frame were sent back for barrel swaps, re chambering , etc. As to dating it I would need more of the serial number and should be able to get you closer. You can PM me with it as opposed to disclosing it here.
