well i showed up about 12:15 and joined in one of the odd double lines. i would have thought they would have done like the last show at the jacobs.just have a line for people with guns and one without. and the one without should be on the right nearest the ticket taker. not to mention the number of "not a chance in hello buyers" (underage) that cut line in front of me. with an attitude about them when they do it. those 2 things are always my biggest gripe. i expected the empty tables, large assortment of knives, beef jerky, and the ever popular "mine is gold, yours is crap" attitude from the regular dealers. but as usual i made a couple friends, saw some friends i hadn't seen in a while, and made a day of it. I also heard all through the crowd soft mutters of "this show is *****, they didn't want to give me nothing for this thing !" seems people haven't learned that the "regulars" buy low and sell high, that's the name of the game for anyone looking to make profit. like the guys who mosey through the line outside like john wayne and pretend to be your buddy and try and grease one in you. we've all seen it or had it pulled on us. some on here may do it even. i just pretend to be at a giant flea market. ask the price, or see it on a tag, make a offer, and walk away if it's not something you want to pay. i feel like there will be a day when we wish we had the chance to attend a gun show without being carted away for "illegally loitering", or whatever you want to call it. so get out to them while you can.

BEING THERE WHEN THEY OPENED ON FRIDAY LAST SHOW, I AGREE WITH MIKE .357. THERE WILL STILL BE EMPTY TABLES AND VENDORS COMING IN. I SAY THAT, YET I WILL BE THERE WHEN THEY OPEN TODAY AND TOMORROW .

I've seen a couple good deals in the classifieds right out from you in wartburg. 30-30 l.a., 10/22. couple others if i remember correctly.

hey dr. alarms, i sent you a p.m. i've decided on either a marlin or savage .17hmr stainless bull barrel with recessed crown,thumbhole or synthetic stock, and from what i've been reading, they make 2 lengths of barrel's. but i think the bull is 20" only. any advice on it is welcomed. I'm not a hunter, but there's just something about that .17 hmr I like. guess i'll go throw a wtb thread up for it. marcel

no big D it's in the jacobs building at chilhowee park like it was a couple weeks ago. that show had a strong crowd the 2 days i attended. i think this one will too, even though it's the day after christmas. marcel

LOOKING FOR A RUGER MK I OR MK II .17 HMR RIFLE RUGER SINGLE SIX WITH MAG CYL. AND 9 1/2 BARREL. COUPLE OTHERS AS WELL JUST WANTED TO SEE IF ANYONE ON HERE WOULD BE BRINGING SOMETHING LIKE THAT TO TRADE. MARCEL

i think since "the great one" has been chosen by his herd you will see every shows attendance spike. no ones sure what will happen, but i for one will be sure and have enough HD. just noticed this shows open friday too ! guess i know where i'll be friday at 5

I would throw down for the pm9 but I am a little bias. I have 3 kahrs as it is and am wanting 1 of each gun they make, as money allows. most people shy away from the single slide but for carry it's great to me. now for ankle carry the keltec .380 (p3t or whatever it's named) is the way to go. haven't bought it yet but i'm thinking real hard on it. just my opinion

I saw your want ad. I seen a pm9 but didn't catch the price on it. looked new so I am guessing it was pricey. had the box & papers, 2 clips if i recall.but you know how things go. it might be g-g-g-gone ! I love my kahrs so I always try to sniff them out. fujimo

linoge is right about 1 thing, google maps sucks a** . way off where it was supposed to be. but i have no shame , lol. i found a guy loading his 4 wheeler in his truck in his backyard at 7:30 in the morning. stopped in the middle of the road and yelled at the top of my lungs "hey buddy, where's that gun show ? " guess you could call that my redneck tom-tom , lmao ! lots of antiquities, but there was several modern guns floating around. landed a buckmark at a good deal. saw several .17 hmr's (that i've been wanting something awful ) but everything was out of my price range. it was worth it for me simply because i enjoy seeing all that people have and bring in to trade. i drove 115 miles round trip but have a fuel miser and got in free so it was all good. I did hear a lot of good buzz about the white pine/morristown show next weekend. everyone i talked to said they were making the trip up simply because they think right now is prime time for gun trading. guess we will see FUJIMO

"PREMIUM KNIVES" means none of that crap you get at the flea market from the chinese. also.....no chinese selling crappy knives while i don't collect knives, i know some of the older ones bring on heck of a price. i have a friend that's a member of the SMGCA and it's just like spuds said. FABULOUS collectors guns and couple years back guy had the largest cap gun display i've ever seen. while that doesn't sound like much, check out what some of those cap guns bring. you won't trade a N.I.B. hi point for one. just an all around good show that needs all the support it can get. just don't expect ak's and ps90's laying all over. I'll be there saturday and will give a report saturday evening.

I thought TGT was reasonable and real good to deal with. I've learned to make "a day" out of a gun show whether it's good or bad. If nothing else I always come home with more knowledge and information than I went with. But I'm one of those that's willing to admit ignorance on a lot of this stuff. Especially when you start talking ar's ak's and guns of the like.

I know its not as big as some of the others but there always seems to be some good trading. i haven't been in a while .i don't want to drive to atlanta this weekend that's for sure.

Anyone planning on attending this one ? I will be coming with $$$$ in search of a couple "things"
