3 dealers or 3 indiduals with tables at a show?
They were all "private collectors" as the OP stated in his original thread. It's my understanding that a true "dealer" can buy/sell/trade when and where they please. But I've heard numerous times in the past where "private collectors/private sellers/those that have purchased tables to sell from but are not FFL's" are discouraged from taking in a trade or even an outright purchase and placing it back on the table for sale in the same day much less immediately.
The 3 I am talking about were what you would consider "private fill in the blank " but were not ffl's.

I just dont see the ATF storming in a Gun Show, hand cuffing someone and haulin them off to jail for reselling a gun immediately. I think its idle BS scare tactics.
Plus if that were true why wouldnt you just trade and make double the money and sell it elswhere. if you offer me 2800 Ed Brown for my Springfield TRP but the condition is I cant sell it untill tomorrow, I think Im still gonna take the deal
Well a year ago i would have agreed with you. But after confirming 3 people I know that have received an ATF enema it's not all b.s.. And I have a feeling it will only get worse.

Anybody else attend this show? I was very dissapointed. One dealer was evidenty the promoter of the show and had over half the space taken up with his own booth.Typical high prices but saw two things I had never heard of before.
1. No buying, selling, or trading firearms outside the show due to insurance regulations?
2. If a private collector with a table took an item on trade he had to put it under his table and could not sell or trade it?
The number 2 deal kept me from buying one item and trading another. Rumor I heard was the dealer promoting the show would turn anyone who violated rule #2 in to the ATF for dealing without an FFL.
In my opinion do not advertise your show as buy/sell/trade if you are going to have this sort of restriction.
For #1, I see the signs posted at every one of his shows. Don't know the legal stature other than maybe someone being injured by a mistakenly loaded weapon during a trade. Personally I think its the fear every promoter has.And that is for someone to use their show to sell something and never enter the building, thus not paying the attendance fee.
As far as #2, I've heard this from several private sellers that have bought tables in the past. Even had one friend they attempted to bait by trying to trade a high dollar gun in on one he had laying there that was worth half as much. Turns out later they were going around making sure any "trade in" to a private seller was put away because it's considered a business if you attempt to resell it immediately. Don't ask me the logic in that, Lmao.

I understand that sentiment. In general the answer is no. Your best best is to buy Wolff springs. They make the best springs in the business. If you do get a heavier spring I would get a 2lb heavier spring than the OEM part. I use them even in my 40 cal Glocks. I have never had any reliability issues with them and they reduce recoil quite a bit.
Thanks Warbird, I'll give it a go

On a G22, 23 or 27 you can use an OEM Glock 357 Sig barrel. If you were to go down in caliber you would need a conversion barrel such as Storm Lake or Lone Wolf specific barrel. The OEM Glock 357 Sig barrel is the same size as the 40 in diameter.
Personally I might look at a couple pound heavier recoil spring with it. Actually I prefer a heavier recoil spring with the Glock 40 anyway. It is the same as the 9 and I have always thought they shoot better with a heavier spring. It lessens recoil, lessens the pounding on the frame and I have never suffered reliability a bit. You can even use the stock mags with the 357 Sig round.
That all said I still prefer the Glock 9mm to my 40's.
So let's say I order an OEM barrel, one for a G33 for instance. Is there a factory heavier spring I can order too ? To be honest I'm the kind that likes to stick with FACTORY stuff whenever I can.

Thanks for the input guys. I knew I could count on you

I've seen on several forums about dropping a 357 sig barrel into a G27 and having one hot little shooter. My question is, what barrel is the best to do this with ? There seems like a dozen companies all saying they have the best made barrel. I'm ready to buy and drop in, just wanting thoughts on what company to go with.

MMMMM, NOPE !

I don't see anything POSITIVE taking place while O is in there.

Err, it's a racist term as it's a derogatory term based solely on the person's race - redneck is not.
Call me pedantic, but words have meaning, and the fact the race card is played so much has undermined the ugliness of that particular form of bigotry.
Me, either. I actually aspire to pick up some redneck traits as I grow older...Actually wiki shows the word redneck as a derogatory remark also, but I guess you can explain that away because it's only derogatory to that particular editor at that time. I know good ol websters showed both words as meaning something different back when it was in a book with paper pages and not on a site where every jackass can alter it to fit their needs.
And no offense to Mike but how is he using it in a non derogatory way ?
It's no different than that actress using it to describe someone the other day and was called out for it. Something along the lines of "dumb redneck". I promise saying that in the wrong group of "good ol boys" or "country boys" where I'm at could have you in a fist fight or more.

Rednecks are a race now?
When did this happen?
I simply find it amusing that people throw that word around and it can be used to degrade a person just as much as other words but THOSE words are TABOO.
Last time I checked
N****R is not a race
F****T is not a race
Q***R is not a race
D**E is not a race
G*Y is not a race (nationally televised "STOP IT" or some kind of BS commercials)

That abut sums it up as good as anything I know of. I just wish I could understand where they are coming from.
The best Yoga student in the world can't manage to stick their head where a liberal does
But I try less to understand it and more to laugh my arse off at it

Yeah I think he now soaks the barrel in CLP (I think that's what it's called) for a few minutes before anything else. Honestly if the right deal on a compact 24/7 in .40 comes along I will own another. They aren't as smooth as other semi's but for me personally it had a nice, natural aim to it.

posted before but if we are having a contest... I left the pavement airborne going about 140mph. Tried to control car after landing but couldn't. Did manage to scrub off some speed before flipping it. Only flipped twice. It was a special edition 1 of 20 ever made.
Well that explains your user name
All the 911's run together for me (since I can't afford nary a one
) but isn't that the one they call the "WHALE TAIL" ?

I had a 24/7 Pro in 9mm and it had the same "scratches" on the lands and in the grooves. Extremely accurate for me, always went BANG ! and put the bullet where I aimed it.
I traded it to a friend who put 500 through it, and now carries it for his ccw.
I didn't buy it new but I know who did and it had only 100 down the pipe when I got it. Might just be something in their mfg. process.

Prolly just some rednecks.
LMAO, and that isn't racist AT ALLLLL

Bought my first BPS more than a decade ago and never looked back. Bought a "pawn shop special" several years later and it shoots just as good as my slick shiny model that now sits unused in the safe.

Ouch! maybe I've been lucky with Taurus.....
lol, I was thinking the same thing.
But you know what they say about one man's junk......

Yea I will let Fujimo answer this one.
I have been wanting to come up to Norris and shoot. Just been waiting until it starts to cool down. The heat is hard on this ole fat boy. lol
LMAO, RF gives me a hard time because I own several that sit unfired in the safe. I was with him when he bought the C so the ribbing began almost immediately
. But hey what are friends for
Absolutely beautiful piece though. I think I heard something about my name being next to it in his will

Thats about the outcome of most of this promoters shows that I've been to. I can pretty much cover the floor in less than 30 minutes. But I usually find something worthy of deeming it a neccesary trip and attendance fee. Besides that he makes sure to get the coupons out there so you can have a buck off.
