  1. Just saw this on the morning news and wanted to vomit !! I wasn't concerned when I heard it yesterday because I assumed they were all GT models, which while still a Viper, doesn't get me as giddy as a GTS. Then what do I see getting scissored into pieces by the mouth of an excavator.... a GTS !!!
  2.   First new pic I've had in 16 years.HCP or DL either one. My latest renewal is the new style with the strip-UPC-code thing on the back of the card. That was the reason they gave me for the new pic.. Should have asked if it was ok to wear my berka and see what they said ,lmfao.
  3.   Well while that's not entirely out of the question I've ran the math and I am looking at $700-800 in travel cost. My original plan was to just take the truck up and have them load it into the bed. Then I find out they might not have access to a fork lift. But they have a dock, which by normal standards is usually about 6" higher than the tailgate of my truck. Tad too much to skee a 1,000# pallet off of,lol. But if I get desperate enough  :ugh:
  4. I went to the DMV and for whatever reason they wanted a new photo. I guess the old one wasn't ugly enough, lmao.   However, after mailing in past renewals and it taking forever to get back to me this time I had it back in a week and a 1/2 . Blew my mind !
  5.   I don't have anything but the free channels so you will have to fill me in on this one :squint:
  6. Thanks for the input everyone.   I knew I could count on you guys
  7. Anymore here in the business of hauling or moving freight ? I have a piece of equipment sitting in new jersey and need it shipped to the knoxville area. Its on a standard pallet. Not certain of weight but its at least 1,000 lbs. After using the ever handy google my mind melted from the number of joe bob places wanting to haul it, lol. So before I took a leap of faith with an unknown I wanted to see if I could help someone on here or at least get advice . Thanks in advance
  8.   The latest from this morning is it was the treasury dept.'s to begin with.   "We just had it stolen and it just happens to be the exact amount you have there" , lmao.   They ( the finders ) deserve everything the get from ol uncle sam. He's lathering up his chrome horn as we speak :)
  9. So did anyone see the latest on this story ?   http://www.newser.com/story/183252/source-of-buried-california-gold-century-old-heist.html?utm_source=part&utm_medium=united&utm_campaign=rss_topnews   2 things.   First, as posted above that BS line about ol miner forty niner burying them didn't win me over.   And second, the best kept secret is one where you NEVER TELL A FOOKING SOUL , LOL !!!!
  10.   Your moms friend sounds like a badass, lol.
  11.   x2   How is it that I always hear about these people that want to remain anonymous on the fooking nightly news !!!   After hearing the story this morning my guess is they were a collectors from long ago and were stolen only to be buried by the thief and the thief met an early demise and took the burial site to their grave.   Now whoever that was, he knew how to remain anonymous
  12. He has the type of attitude suited for politics sooo....
  13. Yep, that was it. Always thought it to be pretty kickass too how he eases the stock out of his pocket, slowly attaches the stock, bullets kicking up dust, then one high pitched squall later the bad guy has extra ventilation.
  14. Ah, ok.
  15. So he kills "angel eyes" only to have him come back as a colonel 2 movies later ?
  16. What kinda George Lucas back assery writing is that !?
  17. If its bare wood that is porus i have used dark shoe polish to "wax on wax off". I wouldn't suggest using it for anything food related after that but you will definitely increase darkness. That or gel stain is also an option
  18. And while on that movie, anyone know what pistol Col. D. Mortimer (lee van cleef) used to finish his first bounty in that movie ? He attaches a screw on buttstock to what appears to be a 12" hand cannon.
  19. So why do they call clints trilogy "the man with no name" when clearly he has a name in "for a few dollars more" ?
  20. You don't have to be an "old man" to be disgusted by today's youth. Or for that matter a great deal of today's society. I understand why psychologist associate animal killing with kids who grow into adult murderers and the like. I hate cats, but I've never laughed when one's been splatted in the street :stunned:   All it takes is one stroll through the 407 flea market to see where we are headed as a people. And it's filled with fat asses in skinny jeans, bra-less, and ugg boots that look like they came stomping out of the cow pasture. And that was just the guys !!!! :puke:
  21. No Josey Wales ???
  22. One part I didn't add was the exchange of money. I've sent money to the seller but those were under unique circumstances. Easier way was to send a usps money order to the FFL or gunshop in the sellers name. That way they have to come to the shop to make the deal. And for safety I have sent it registered so it would be signed for by someone at the shop.   There are safe ways to do it, but they are also costly. But then again, what's a unicorn worth these days :ugh:
  23. I've bought several from out of state. Safest way I've found is to get a third party involved, as several have already stated.   My method after finding said firearm: Search the local ffl/gunshop first. Then search that ffl or shops reputation. Then I will call them and let me know what I have in mind. I've been shot down several times or was given a price beyond what I wanted to pay. But I always ended up finding someone. Establish a price for handling such a task with the ffl. Then pursue the seller and the firearm. I usually let them know right up front that I already have an ffl in the area ready to take possession of the firearm and take care of the entire transfer. If they suggest their own "buddy ffl" that will do it for free then for me I am out. I've done the leg work and they insist on using their guy ??? First sign of an ass raping IMO.   Keep in mind this way of doing business adds up. Usually I add $100 to whatever I am paying for the firearm. Luckily I've learned unless the piece is old and a odd bird it will eventually turn up locally. Even if locally means the other side of the state.
  24. Garufa nailed it.   When you enter through the double doors keep walking straight towards the double set of steps located at the opposite side (or the rear ) of the bldg.   Once you reach the steps turn left and walk roughly 20-30 feet. David's booth always sticks out of the end of the aisle a little bit and will be a more organized than most you see.   Best money you will spend at the whole show :)
