  1. If your bottom dollar is set slightly above what someone is realistically willing to give then I think you've already answered your own question. Subconsciously I think that means you want to keep it. Zero disrespect meant BTW. How do I know this ? Because I've been there with guns, cars, many other items we won't speak of,lol.
  2. Must...resist...profiling...
  3. Plenty of sun worshipping and drinking to be done :) Atlantis is nice but technically you're suppose to pay to be in there. There's also snorkeling and some booze cruises available . Youll have a great time
  4. I'd rather wait and get it from you if you're certain you will get it.
  5. Maybe this is a silly question but how many guns need to show up in crimes from a single store to investigate it for possible criminal activity ???
  6. Ive watched this play out the last couple days on the news. If it stands it can only spell bad things for the future of gun owners.
  7. Lmao. I'm pretty sure that will get some attention!
  8. My "George" approach for that situation    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnfbhdELQLA
  9. My opinion from both sides.   As the seller or trader- I would make sure to inform the potential buyer that the safety did not function properly and with all the recent lawsuit buzz I would probably draw up a document stating such and make sure to have it signed and dated by both parties to have something in writing just in case. It might be butt wipe with ink on it in a court of law but I'd at least feel better about selling a "broken" gun.   As the buyer- I would expose it as a flaw in the gun and try to haggle you down with it :)  But I wouldn't preach law to you, however true or not. That approach never flies with me when I'm selling something.   Personally I would wait for another rainy day and attempt another fix of that safety. Or find someone who will :))
  10. Thanks for the heads up Mike.
  11. Guys I greatly appreciate all the input.   I like to keep money local when I can and that goes double if I can support a TGO establishment.
  12. I'm needing a new windshield and wanted to see if anyone in the east tn area had any recommendations. Or, on the other end, who to avoid using.   That is all :)   Thanks in advance for the input
  13. And it looks like Adolph is enjoying the game :)
  14. Barry and Michelle - the dating years ?? :) :)
  15. PM's replied to.   I really appreciate the responses. Keep them coming :)
  16. This trumps any need for religious discussion for me. I guess I would have been shot for questioning his reason for asking me such a personal question, lol.
  17. I'm looking to build in east tn and wanted to see if any members (or friends of) were contractors or subs and live work in the Knoxville or surrounding area.   For the present I'm looking at building something for a business so it will have plumbing, electrical, etc.   I know there's an array of builders in the Knoxville area where you hand them a blank check and your soul and they deliver what you want but I'm hoping to find someone with a more open approach.   Please PM me with any leads or advice
  18. The dead always seem to be,lol.
  19. In the case of a 10-22 I simply ask if they're legal to own a gun and NOT a felon .
  20. Lmao. "Pay no attention to the man in the white suit, just continue to buy into our latest gimmick "
  21. Alright photogs..if that's a word :) I need input on video cameras. Really wasn't wanting to buy one but an upcoming 1st birthday party for my niece has prompted me to look around. I have even considered slumming it and renting one, lol. All that said, if I am buying one where should I be looking ?
  22. I get emails several times a week from frontier. They're one of the worst for that crap. That and cancelling .
  23.     I have thought this for a long time now. Not placing the blame on one particular thing but it's funny how everything prior to this era is avoided in schools anymore.
  24. My biggest problem is eating myself sick on it and it's brethern, lol. Being part of the cruciferae family it can play hell on your gi tract when eaten in quantity
  25.   This is what I was thinking since the beginning. I've helped a family member or 3 go to the bargaining table at a dealership. Mostly because I've worked in a dealership and can dissect the horse shizzle on the deal sheet. When in that business one thing that the sales guys loved was the trade in of unsuspecting buyers. "We will pay that off for you and give you X amount of cash back",lol. You would have thought Elvis said "Uh, drop those panties little mama" !!
