  1. Go visit a walk-in clinic and let them check to see what you have. The holidays are no time to be sick. :)

    Seconded.

Don't take a page from our lawmakers book, actually go and FIND OUT what you have and then find a way to cure it :)
  2. We are all now dumber for having read that article. The data used to quantify happiness or misery isn't valid. Using commute times implies that a long commute makes someone automatically unhappy, which isn't necessarily true, or high number of unmarried or low number of homeowners. It's bad data used to wrote a bad article.

    This x infinity
  3. Oh, man, I couldn't disagree more. Alice in Chains MTV Unplugged is probably one of the best rock albums of all time. While I believe Cantrell is a great guitarist, and helped create some great harmonies with Staley, there's no way I can agree that Cantrell was the main voice all along. In my opinion, the death of Staley has proven that he was Alice in Chains. While William Duvall is a decent enough vocalist, he's clearly no Layne Staley.

That gig was the first to come to my mind with a mention of acv. Just like nirvanas raw session
  4. To give you some background I am 42 yrs old and my wife is 39 . We like rock , pop and the older country . She is a die hard Pink Floyd fan . As far as Alice In Chains , listen to " Your Decision" and " taker her out again" . Jerry Cantrell is singing lead on those songs. You can listen to these two songs and then realize that Jerry was the "main" voice all along . It's kinda hard to explain but Jerry was always backing up Layne and when you hear these songs it sounds like Alice In Chains but without a lot of raspyness. I like it .

This is a coke/pepsi debate for me (although I drink neither)

AC/DC will always be Bon Scott
Lynyrd Skynyrd will always be RVZ
    Queen Freddy Mercury

    Etc.

I blame HUGE binges of non stop music for this, lmao.
  5. I wouldn't say state wide our Coop in Jonesborough has been very helpful to me in answering questions and helping with my problems. Multiple clerks so it wasn't just luck. Also the closest gas pump that sell ethanol free gas and in regular not high test.

I didnt mean it like that exactly. I just meant it's good to hear there are others that don't measure up. I thought I was alone, lol.

Just like other businesses, I don't spend my money when I'm not treated good.
  6. Damn that sucks; wait just a sec, guns have been banned down under???

I didn't Google it,I'm sure someone will and post a link, but I was under the impression they have some of the most DA gun laws.

I don't think he'd be carrying anyway right ? Unless his job requires he carry it abroad.
  7. I'm driving on my way back from Savannah. I needed to boot him or I was going to be the one in the wreck.

Now THAT is funny chit right there.

I was wondering how much bible babble was too much. Apparently several pages worth, lol.
  8. This kind of stuff has always happened, and all stats indicate that kids are as safe or safer in this regard than they were in days of old .. like all things, what has changed is the universal news reporting, so now everybody knows every little thing all the time, and perception about actual probabilities is skewed.

You're still talking about an event that would be described with gawd knows how many zeros after the decimal point percentage. Compared to many other common daily activities that are a thousand times more likely to cause death, but yet folks don't worry about them at all. Including the kids playing in the ball game at that same place, whatever.

Ever see Stossel's program on "What We Should Be Scared Of"? Here's excerpt:

Lol,good video OS. This was a topic of conversation today at lunch. Post Paris attack I am seeing an insane increase of posts telling me to avoid crowds , sleep in body armor and war paint, and convert my suv into a rolling arsenal.
