TGO already has it's share of prognosticators , I was referring to the state itself. While this stupidity made national news I can only imagine what other ridiculous laws they're passing that we don't hear about.

Another state I'm glad I don't live in

Illinois is SERIOUS when they say no swimming or fishing in this area

They've spent decades inoculating up and coming generations to the point where we now label a pissed off navy guy with a sh!t list of hated politicians and 15 guns as a domestic terrorist and someone we should hang. I assure you the same snowflake hipster titsuckers would load their pink panties with past tense avocado toast and la croix if they actually encountered a real terrorist. These are the same people that call 911 for other parents being "too strict" with their children at the playground. I am thankful everyday I don't have children to raise in this.

And here I thought nothing in print had substance anymore

I have owned several and agree with HP, except the part about him not being a fanatic ! 2 revolvers, dang hoarder!

I had one of the ill fated Rem 597 in 17 HMR explode in my face. No glorious pics but it reinforced the reason I wear protection whenever I shoot.

+1 on this. Personal responsibility can't be stated enough. And that extends past guns, we are losing that in society in general. I have family and friends that could use a lesson in it yet they ramble on through life expecting someone else to take care of it.

Was I the only one that caught he was waiting on MOM ? Now as someone who cares for an elderly parent and goes heeled I've yet to call someone out while Dad is getting his 60 roll pack of Brawny A little more investigating and reading several stories from several other networks suggest this guy is 57 and lives with mommy and was wearing a veterans hat when the showdown/shoutdown took place. While many focused on the eyes in his mugshot my first giveaway was the hoodie. I bet lunch that he was also sporting white sneakers and trotted out to his ( or mommies) Prius in the handicapped space and still has a BERNIE 2016 sticker on his trunk lid.

That was great. His stand-up is still funny, at least to me. He does a bit about Slayer that's spot on for anyone who's ever been to a Slayer concert. He was at SNL during that time period I feel they were at their best, the mid 90's.

I'm just glad I'm not in the nosebleed section right now thinking about how much I paid to be there

Thank you for that @GlockSpock It would appear I will need to make an Aldi run !
-
Take it from a veteran Aldi shopper, if you like it,check the expiration and then stack it deep. A lot of the stuff they have is temporary and just when you get in love poof it's gone. I'm curious of the sugar content. Like you I can guzzle good sauce but then find out it's basically hot corn syrup lol.

Thanks to a childhood of being around these type things I can say neither are particular hurdles. No more than driving damn near anything that will move IF the situation calls for it. Thats the difference I see going forward. So many out there aren't being taught essential things modern tech won't do for you. While the rotary phone was obviously a poor choice in an attempt to prove a point I understand what they were trying to convey. I believe the rotary phone was chosen because a "phone" is the single most important thing in life to so many. It's how they start and end their day and countless decisions emotions and reactions all start with it. An example : I encounter this far too often. I use cash as payment ( the horror I know ) and the cashier has to think about the change to give me back. We aren't talking rocket science, we are LITERALLY talking simple math and yet without their register in front of them they are lost. I've had several tell me "wait, let me just grab my phone and pull up my calculator" all the while me telling them what change I should be given because I done the math in my head as they were attempting to understand the situation. And for the record the register was out of paper, offline, some other BS which is why I paid in cash to start with. My point is while "outdated tech" is not necessarily the goto thing there are plenty out there that are letting society, media, and the newest tech tool teach their kids and letting the basic fundamentals fall to the wayside. Much like OS commented somewhere else on here that I was reading last night its attrition pure and simple. Yes we are stronger as a society that has the latest and greatest and latest at our fingertips but take that away and a great deal of our population would be F**KED !

Add to that no concrete and no electricity so the building process alone ought to be a treat to watch lol. I have several friends in that area that are already hating it and him.
