  1. I too was in a cord coma for a long time all while the closest thing I have to a brother kept telling me to go get a 1/2" milwaukee fuel impact and it will change your life. Boy was he ever right. I own about $2k worth of their fuel line tools and Im anxiously awaiting their chainsaw and pole saw. I haven't found anything their impacts won't tackle. I will say their string trimmer takes 2nd place when comparing it to dewalts. But even then the fuel trimmer is far ahead of the rest out there.

I thought it might be cool to start a thread for everyone to test their memory by answering a question.

Can you remember the first gun you ever owned? New, Used, Hand me down, family heirloom or what ever but it had to be your gun. No toy guns allowed.  Mine was a J.C Higgings 4.10 single shot bolt action and I got it for Christmas. Parents got it at Sears-Roebuck.

No need for a test, I can go to the safe and get it :)

Along with several of the "first" that followed ( AK, lever action, S&W,Colt, etc )

  3. Not sure where you are in east tn @Erik88but Ive had several legal matters taken care of by what I consider my "go to" legal advisor and he's right here on TGO. That would be @JReedEsq. My father wanted to get a will drawn up and while it wasn't very specific or highly detailed he would have NEVER agreed to having one done online. I've used Mr. Reed several times and he's always attentive to your needs and doesn't try to rush you back out the door for the next guy in the lobby.

  4. I've bought and sold with great results. Only thing I'll advise is to check out the seller like you would on ebay. 0 feedback people I usually avoid unless I'm within driving distance.

  5. Marlin camp guns are great pieces just beef up the recoil buffer and spring. 9mm versions can still be had for reasonable money as long as you are willing to overlook some bumps and bruises.

Hi Points, as noted by QS, are good fun for the investment price.

Ruger PC's (old style) are excellent and way overbuilt. The new ones look to be the same but not having owned one yet I can only say they appear to be a similar gun with an uglier appearence.

I have 2  AR uppers in 9 & 45 and I am waiting on the right lower to come along.

CZ Scoprion carbine was also a great piece but someone loved it more than I did :)

All pieces that served me well

For those that actually care about the Constitution, the final rule is out: Federal Register | Bump-Stock-Type Devices.

    This was a long read.

I think it would have been simpler, shorter, and just as effective to put "we have decided to outlaw an accessory that will change NOTHING".

Unless I missed it I only saw the LV incident referenced when giving examples of it's mass killing power. Maybe I slept and forgot about others.

  7. Any "pro gun rights" rally at this point, no matter how well intended and snowflake friendly, will come off as GUN TOTIN' WHITEY REDNECK KLAN RALLY and will be broadcast on local tv like throwing a steak to a starved lion in a cage. It's my own personal opinion that they have managed to take BLM, LGBTQ (sure I forgot a letter or 2) and a couple other groups and merge them into 1 rolling gauntlet of bleeding hearts fockers. Any resistance is viewed as anti gun, anti people of color, anti gay, anti ?? and there isn't a TV station out there that will do your rally justice.

Edited to answer the OP's questions. I will continue to do the only thing I feel makes the most impact for me as a citizen and voter and that is to keep pressure on those that are elected to represent me on both the local, state, and federal levels. I let them know that a bunch of kids, which is what we all know they are, are not only not old enough to vote yet but have been brainwashed by this feel good social media based society.

It's not what the kid doing the shooting is thinking but more how quick a good person with a gun can stop the bad guy with the gun!!!   It would be great if there would be none killed or injured but if it can be cut down to 1 or 2 before the shooter is taken down that is better the 17 or Like Columbine and 59 and Sandy Hook with 26...............JMHO

Not sure where you got the Columbine number but there was only 12 killed.

A channel 4 reporter just stated that bump stocks turn ordinary guns into automatic machine guns. Get the story right channel 4!

I watch the local news for the weather and traffic. I feel thats the last couple segments the large corporations that own them won't corrupt with their liberal BS.

I did not take it the wrong way.

I gave her going online prices for all the guns she wanted to get rid of, as best I could find, so she would not be taken advantage of. I told her that it was just for reference and she probably would not get that much on all of them but she would know how much of a deal she was giving people. I paid her using the same method and she thought I was over paying to give her money so I explained what I did and that is when she asked me to price them all for her. I brought up the topic with her because there are enough brothers and son in-laws in the family that I was afraid they would pressure her into to giving them all away.

She is in Ohio so unless I make another trip up there before she sells them all no more will be coming to TN. She carries a .38 and was keeping at least one of the semi-autos for the house.

    ROAD TRIP ! :)

Saw one couple weeks ago in a small shop next to the post office in little Crab Orchard. I was meeting a member there and stumbled on the shop. They are still getting ready but he showed it to me when he saw I liked Sigs. Nice. A little spendy but nice.

That's going to be one nice shop when they get it open.

FUJIMO, thanks for the help and no I’m not giving it up. Not yet anyway. I ended up paying $445 so I was happy with it. No barrel tool included unfortunately.

Glad to help. Unless there's a current issue with the barrel I wouldn't sweat it and just go shoot that thang !

Thank you to those that responded to the thread and in PM. With a little encouragement, I picked up the revolver during lunch. This is it in its current state.
