My suggestion would be to shop around every couple years regardless of who you have now. One of the biggest mistakes I made years ago was assuming I was with the best because I never had an issue and the rate appeared to be reasonable. How can you sit and say you have the best out there if you blindly pay year to year without seeing what else is out there ? That extends on many things beyond insurance as well.

The only thing I really didn't agree with was allowing a local gun shop owner to say owning one was the same as owning a machine gun. Is that asking 1k with the hopes of getting 1k or 850-900 ?. That's where I think someone would like you to end up. I did a quick looksee and If It were me 850 to 900 would be a good deal in the current gun climate for the package. I just saw a 1200 round spam of steel case 7.62 sell for 200 and there are several ras regular wood models that have set on local sites for 650. Just my input but good luck on adding another Kimber either way
