  1. They've spent decades inoculating up and coming generations to the point where we now label a pissed off navy guy with a sh!t list of hated politicians and 15 guns as a domestic terrorist and someone we should hang. I assure you the same snowflake hipster titsuckers would load their pink panties with past tense avocado toast and la croix if they actually encountered a real terrorist. These are the same people that call 911 for other parents being "too strict" with their children at the playground. I am thankful everyday I don't have children to raise in this.

I have 2. Not a fanatic, just worked out that way. But nice little pistols. Not really for long range shooting, but at 10 yards isn't bad. Of course not intended for that, more for close range...5-7 yards and closer.

Mine have the ribbed rubber grips making them easier to hold, and absorb the recoil.

38 special rounds comfortable to shoot, P+ not so much.

If what you looked at, check to see if +P rated. Good price? Get it. Great house gun, and carry for just getting into carry. I say this because most people will not stop at the Taurus. Smiths and Rugers soon follow.

I have owned several and agree with HP, except the part about him not being a fanatic ! :) 2 revolvers, dang hoarder!

This is a very valid point and one I too struggle reconciling.

    With Rights come Responsibilities.

When I long ago made the decision to obtain my permit and carry a handgun daily I understood the need to learn to do so safely and competently. I received my first State wide permit when my then home of MS became a Shall Issue State. That was 1990. They didn't even require a class of any type. So I took it upon myself to start down that path. Many thousands of dollars and many hundreds of hours of training and practice, and many, many miles traveled, and I am still on that journey, and it's just that, a journey, not a destination. I pray I never stop learning and improving. That's because I take that responsibility seriously. I know many of you do as well. But we are not representative of the majority. That's unfortunate and we see it manifested in actions like this fool in the article. Sad indeed.

chances R is right...you can't legislate stupid away...

    +1 on this.

Personal responsibility can't be stated enough. And that extends past guns, we are losing that in society in general. I have family and friends that could use a lesson in it yet they ramble on through life expecting someone else to take care of it.

  4. Was I the only one that caught he was waiting on MOM ?
Now as someone who cares for an elderly parent and goes heeled I've yet to call someone out while Dad is getting his 60 roll pack of Brawny 😆
A little more investigating and reading several stories from several other networks suggest this guy is 57 and lives with mommy and was wearing a veterans hat when the showdown/shoutdown took place. While many focused on the eyes in his mugshot my first giveaway was the hoodie. I bet lunch that he was also sporting white sneakers and trotted out to his ( or mommies) Prius in the handicapped space and still has a BERNIE 2016 sticker on his trunk lid.

Some like it hot. Some are crazy.

I eat most any hot sauce, currently in my fridge are various habanero, ghost pepper, and scorpion pepper sauces. I'm apparently crazy. However, a week ago, I discovered a sauce at Aldi. It isn't all that hot to me (my taste may be biased towards the hotter sauces), but it has an amazing flavor. I've tried the "Chipotle" so far. It isn't that hot but has an amazing smoky flavor. I've nearly been drinking the stuff. It quickly became one of my favorite sauces of all time. So today, I went back to Aldi to purchase all the flavors. Only $1.89 each.

I asked the cashier at checkout if that was something they normally stocked, she said that she didn't think so and thought it was for the Super Bowl time period. I may go back and buy all of them.

Take it from a veteran Aldi shopper, if you like it,check the expiration and then stack it deep. A lot of the stuff they have is temporary and just when you get in love poof it's gone. I'm curious of the sugar content. Like you I can guzzle good sauce but then find out it's basically hot corn syrup lol.

That reminds me of this incident from a few years back where a face to face conversation got really awkward after one guest assumed the guest was white, when he wasn’t in a conversation regarding the Starbucks Racetogether campaign a few years ago.

The whole video is worthwhile, but the fun starts aroun the 6:00 minute mark.

I can't watch the video but if ol nancy jowls is in it you can bet it will be some liberal spewing.

That is kinda what I was thinking. It is obsolete tech. Like a party line, or calling an operator to connect you. How many of you here know how to set points or adjust your timing? Do you know how to operate the pedals on a Model T? Most likely not. It is obsolete tech. Do you know how to chop down a tree cut it to lumber and build your own home? Of course not, time has moved on from that point and life has become much easier. It is not the foretelling of doom that many of you think it is.

Thanks to a childhood of being around these type things I can say neither are particular hurdles. No more than driving damn near anything that will move IF the situation calls for it. Thats the difference I see going forward. So many out there aren't being taught essential things modern tech won't do for you.

While the rotary phone was obviously a poor choice in an attempt to prove a point I understand what they were trying to convey. I believe the rotary phone was chosen because a "phone" is the single most important thing in life to so many. It's how they start and end their day and countless decisions emotions and reactions all start with it.

An example : I encounter this far too often. I use cash as payment ( the horror I know ) and the cashier has to think about the change to give me back. We aren't talking rocket science, we are LITERALLY talking simple math and yet without their register in front of them they are lost. I've had several tell me "wait, let me just grab my phone and pull up my calculator" all the while me telling them what change I should be given because I done the math in my head as they were attempting to understand the situation. And for the record the register was out of paper, offline, some other BS which is why I paid in cash to start with.

My point is while "outdated tech" is not necessarily the goto thing there are plenty out there that are letting society, media, and the newest tech tool teach their kids and letting the basic fundamentals fall to the wayside. Much like OS commented somewhere else on here that I was reading last night its attrition pure and simple. Yes we are stronger as a society that has the latest and greatest and latest at our fingertips but take that away and a great deal of our population would be F**KED !

Forty acres seems like a small tract for 150 houses, unless they are to be small for small people. Are the tree houses to be built in trees?

Add to that no concrete and no electricity so the building process alone ought to be a treat to watch lol.

I have several friends in that area that are already hating it and him.
