  1. My suggestion would be to shop around every couple years regardless of who you have now. One of the biggest mistakes I made years ago was assuming I was with the best because I never had an issue and the rate appeared to be reasonable. How can you sit and say you have the best out there if you blindly pay year to year without seeing what else is out there ? That extends on many things beyond insurance as well.

I think he probably meant the penalty is the same.

I think its funny that people need to read a DIY on how to destroy a piece of plastic themselves.

He did, and I get the law very much means the same thing when they drop the hammer on you. But he made sure to use words that frighten the sh!t out of a lot of already rattled people and tit clinging snowflakes.

And I was rolling when I heard that DIY post too

  3. The local news did their part with a DIY ( destroy it yourself ) how to posted to their website. The only thing I really didn't agree with was allowing a local gun shop owner to say owning one was the same as owning a machine gun. Much like the stories of slaughter that are tied to the inanimate objects the media doesn't hold back when they put their special BS spin on it. That wasn't for the gun owners out there who know they are full of it that's to scare every non gun owner into thinking the gvt has saved them from a machine gun melee down the road somewhere. Thanks big brother 🙄

I want a good, reliable pistol with a good trigger and adjustable sights.  My budget on this is $1,000 or less.  It will be used for shooting at the range primarily.

    Thanks,

Since we are talking a range gun I assume you want a full size and not a commander or smaller size.

All steel or is aluminum framed an option ?

Awesome platform with a wide variety to choose from especially with a realistic budget

  5. Is that asking 1k with the hopes of getting 1k or 850-900 ?. That's where I think someone would like you to end up. I did a quick looksee and If It were me 850 to 900 would be a good deal in the current gun climate for the package. I just saw a 1200 round spam of steel case 7.62 sell for 200 and there are several ras regular wood models that have set on local sites for 650.

Just my input but good luck on adding another Kimber either way ;)

  6. According to their website there's a show this weekend and another in May at the armory. IIRC they have promoted several in east tn in the past and the show turnout was all based on the venue used and how much advertising they done leading up to it. While you'd think being a promoter they would place advertising about a show at the top of the list that's not always the case. I would definitely get on their website @hipower and print their $1 off coupon :)

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. Are you sure it isn't coming here?

TGO already has it's share of prognosticators , I was referring to the state itself. While this stupidity made national news I can only imagine what other ridiculous laws they're passing that we don't hear about.
