  1. I have no ties with this business but I've had great luck with Phoenix Glass in Knoxville. Whenever I spend money with a local business I always ask for a discount if I pay in cash and these guys turned a $450 windshield replacement on a newer model Chevy into a $300 one. While experiences will vary with the vehicle I've since not had anything bad to say about the glass they used. It looks like OEM and has the factory installed rain sensor.

No, man! I'm open for suggestions. I just want a toy, but the wife also has to agree to it. I've always valued your opinion. If you think it's a bad idea, I wanted to hear it. Better now than after the fact.

It's $8950. While that seems like a lot in a way, I haven't seen any nice ones in that price range. I thought I could probably part with it next spring and come out all right if I didn't like it.

What are your intentions with the bug if I may ask ? Before I make a suggestion for the $9k investment it would be nice to know what you and the wife plan on doing in it.

Guys, I have a request. I have a Model 624 44 Special, a pre-lock model, that a buddy has made an offer on, and I don't really where I sit on this. I've had it for quite a while.

Of course a SS, 4" barrel, 3/4 underlug, original grips, adjustable rear sights and high front blade, no box, and in an easy 95% condition.

S# H88_ _ _, can't find my S&W book tonight.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Oh, the offer...a Walther Q5. Used, with 3 mags. I like it, but do I love it?

As Erich stated it wouldn't be a fair trade for you. Barring anything odd or unique your 624 is worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $700. This is based on what you have described in your post. Also your SN# is missing an A prefix but assuming you meant something like AHH or the like your 624 appears to be a first year run. Of course once you unearth your book I'm not telling you anything you wouldn't find. 😉

Unless maybe you have something for sale.

Do you all do that a bunch too? Go to click on a thread and click on the user’s name and their profile opens up. You know they think you are a crazy stalker if you do that, don’t you? I’ve seen you stalkers on my profile page; don't think I don't know who you are.

You know how when your cursor is on the main page and user names pop up if you hover over it? I wonder if that shows you as a stalker on their profile page.

Inquiring minds want to know. That and it’s a slow day.

    1st sign of a stalker- saying "I'm not a stalker" 😁

The UT faithful are going to have to be patient. The program has had zero consistency for nearly 10 years. It's going to take a long time to rebuild it. If Pruitt learned anything from Saban, he's seen how to do it.  They must choose a way forward and stick with it for at least 5 years. More major changes will make it worse, not

He won't have time to do what Saban did with the tide program. When UT 's big donors start complaining you better start packing your bags.

Are we not going to discuss this? They are saying this is the worst loss in many decades.

By the end of the 3rd quarter I was pulling for GA St. I'm so over the vols. How can a program generate so much money and still be this terrible? Amazing.

It HAS to be a monetary record of how much we spent ($950k) to get our a$$es handed to us.

  7. I've been running Arlo Pro at my fathers house for a year now with great results. The drawbacks are all battery related but have recently been solved with the addition of solar chargers. I have an app on my phone and laptop for constant coverage as well as a interface to control each camera, record, snap pics, speak through the cam, etc. I won't go as far as saying it's THE best but it serves the purpose for what I need.

Actually, no...they can only enforce state/federal laws.

I just assumed since the patriot act anyone with a badge was promoted to federal marshal level. I mean the dog catcher in my area carries an AR15 🙄

This day in time if the police is at your home because someone called them the best thing to do is cooperate with them and see if the issue can be resolved and don't do anything that may cause the officer to feel threatened. If the officer does not see anything that could have been required that the call was made he might try and see why the call was made in the first place. I have found that most times cooperation with the officers is always the best path forward. Cool heads would always be my recomendation...........JMHO

And if anyone could sum up in 1 paragraph how F**Ked up all this if you just did.  For you to feel compelled to HAVE to give that kind of advice 🙄

Don't for get the guy who was shot to death on his front porch after being Swatted by another person. He was unarmed.  Apparently, you can simply move your hand and by shot to death, with zero repercussions for the officer.

"Justin Rapp, Officer, Wichita Police Department; originally stated he believed Finch had a gun, but testified in May 2018 that he merely saw Finch make a motion with his hand"

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Wichita_swatting

Yeah that was first time I heard mention of it.

  11. For a taste of the future Google SWATTING and read the latest that happened to the fortnite kid.

It's clear all it takes nowadays is a "claim" to get authorities all hot bothered and knuckle deep in your azz. Much like the media let's overreact first then worry about facts and evidence later.
