Another that I have come across is when you counter what the seller is asking they become offended that you are asking for less than they advertise. Buying and selling is about agreeing to terms. If terms are different there is no need to complete the transaction. Also, there is no need to be offended if someone values what you are selling differently than you.

I second this. I can speak from experience. My brother in law and I have the same rifle and one load worked well in mine and in his you couldn't group well if your life depended on it.

HCP is pretty cool to give options even though I am generally more of a CC proponent. But that is just my personal preference.

It really depends on the deal and what each person feels is worth it. I've only been burned once for driving somewhere. Luckily it was only 30 mins away.

I generally like to meet half way because it shows commitment on both sides. But I can't see driving more than an hour and a half away for a transaction. Even if the deal is sweet. Like jh225's sweet deal for the RO, at least IMO.

While I believe it is important to prepare for the unexpected,I think you may rely too much on electronics. If you have no power then they will have limited usefulness if there is no power source. If you need an Ebook on survival, I think you may have other areas you may need to address first. I think besides have stored goods, skills are important too.
