    Brownells?

I've ordered from them many times and will in the future. Good customer service too.
  2. Another that I have come across is when you counter what the seller is asking they become offended that you are asking for less than they advertise. Buying and selling is about agreeing to terms. If terms are different there is no need to complete the transaction. Also, there is no need to be offended if someone values what you are selling differently than you.
  3. Welcome to TN. This is from the following website: http://www.state.tn.us/safety/handgun/apprequirements.shtml For Persons Holding a Handgun Carry Permit from Other States and Applying for a Tennessee Handgun Carry Permit ALL handgun permit applicants seeking a new, renewal, or replacement permit must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency. If a person with a handgun permit from another state decides to become a resident of Tennessee, such person must obtain a Tennessee handgun permit within six (6) months of establishing residency in Tennessee. All applicants, regardless of permits issued by another state will be processed as originals. The applicant must be twenty-one (21), complete the Tennessee Handgun Carry Permit application, provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency, pay one hundred and fifteen dollar ($115.00) fee, and be fingerprinted. All applicants, except those with valid permits from New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas must take a DOS approved handgun safety course. Licensing requirements are not included in the reciprocity agreements between states. The mutual recognition of handgun possession privileges between states has not changed and is listed on this website.
  4. I had to look... Had to chuckle at the 3rd reference here.
  5. I second this. I can speak from experience. My brother in law and I have the same rifle and one load worked well in mine and in his you couldn't group well if your life depended on it.
  6. HCP is pretty cool to give options even though I am generally more of a CC proponent. But that is just my personal preference.
  7. Funny. Always hard to tell with electronic media.
  8. CCP is the model of the firearm. Not in reference to the permit.
  9. It really depends on the deal and what each person feels is worth it. I've only been burned once for driving somewhere. Luckily it was only 30 mins away.
  10. If I was 1.5 hours away from you. I would be a little poorer but happy man.
  11. I generally like to meet half way because it shows commitment on both sides. But I can't see driving more than an hour and a half away for a transaction. Even if the deal is sweet. Like jh225's sweet deal for the RO, at least IMO.
  12. While I believe it is important to prepare for the unexpected,I think you may rely too much on electronics. If you have no power then they will have limited usefulness if there is no power source. If you need an Ebook on survival, I think you may have other areas you may need to address first. I think besides have stored goods, skills are important too.
  13. That's funny. Just shaved mine off. It was a sad day.
  14. I had the dog pile wake up call.
  15. Had a good time. Thanks for putting this on.
  16. Sounds fun. I plan on being there.
  17. Some reason I thought it was 2 days. Saturday was the day I was referring to. I'll check it out next time.
  18. Sorry to have missed this. Sunday is too busy for me. Maybe next time.
  19. Thanks for the ideals. Now I get to check them out. Too bad nothing local.
  20. Any recommendations on an IWB holster for a SIG P239? I have had a hard time even finding them local to try on before I buy. Any suggestions?
  21. What's the format? Watch someone run a course or does someone walk you through it as you try it yourself?
  22. Is it open to new shooters?
  23. Just joined to forum today. I transplanted to the middle Tennessee area about 10 years ago. My interests are my family, improving my firearms handling and having a good time. Interested in learning more about the shooting sports so if you see a new guy out at a match say howdy.
