First off I want to say Thanks to Mark and his family! I had a great time and thanks for the help on my shooting stance. The trip was awesome and I appreciate everything!!! I can't wait until the next one! I'm glad Boom finally talked me into coming to these gatherings...I coach upward sports at our church so for the next 8 weeks it might be hard to get to the next one cause the games are on Saturdays. Thanks again Mark for hosting the event!!

Hey guys, Boomhower and I went to the gun show this morning and I was very disappointed. Now this is the first one I've been too before but I have researched prices on various products and when we got there and started looking around the prices was way too high. I think there was one vendor that was close to what the prices were in the store. I thought guns shows was where you could find deals and such. Was I going in there with the wrong attitude? Or is all guns shows higher priced than in the store? I just want to make sure before I say "I'm never going back to one!"

haha...the snake comment is hilarious!!! I laughed for 5 mins.... definately no snakes at my church or you wouldn't see me there...not because the religion thing either....scared to death of them!!!! With or without a gun!!! Great post guys!

Great piece!!! Again, if you don't mind I'd love to print this out and share this with my Sunday School Class. At our church we had a sportsmans bash a couple of months ago and the pastor arranged for anyone who wanted to sign up for the handgun permit class, the church paid for 1/2 the class. So I knew right then and there that our church supported protecting ourselves and our families...again, great piece!!!!

Hey guys, does anyone do trap shoot on a regular basis? I would like to get into the sport more but live in a subdivision where my neighbor's house can be touched by the end of my shotgun barrel. Im looking for some place to shoot and practice cause I want to go DUCK huntin...

Welcome Sheepdog....Im fairly a new member myself...more of a reader on here than a talker until.... These guys have a monthly shoot for us east tn guys on the 3rd saturday of every month rotating between oak ridge and kingsport...(you can read about them in the events and gatherings forum index.) I made it to last October shoot last weekend and it was a blast!!! There is a great group of guys on here that will answer any question you have gun related or not!! So come on in, take your shoes off, and make yourself at home..."you won't break nothin."

Hey guys...I've got the Browning borrowed this weekend. Seems to be in great shape...has only 50 rounds put through it...no scratches or wear that I can see...I think I'm going with this one... Thanks to all for your help and opinions and maybe we'll see you all at the next East TN shoot... Thanks again...

OK...I found a Browning Buckmard Camper....camo color for 250...is that good? I have looked it up on various sites and some of them say they go for around 260, 270....but those sites are sites that i've never heard of.... thanks for all of your help...
