I wasn't fortunate enough to get the original 8000, got a Stoeger years later. Absolutely one of my favorites, I even used it for USPSA for a while. I currently can't find a source for recoil springs for it.

Thanks for the heads up, went this morning to restock after yesterday's range time with my 14 year old son. Minimags in abundance, such a beautiful sight. Now if they could just get the range open, HOBSON PIKE REEKS! You know why if you have ever been there.

Perfecta 9 was found in great abundance at the Nolensville Rd Walmart just south of OHB, at the good price, on Sunday.

I was fortunate to find some .22 a few weeks ago. Took my son to Nashville Armory for some friendly competition. He was looking a little glum at the end of the session because he had come close, but not beaten me yet. The game was to use the "dot torture" target and with a 10 round clip, see how far you can go before you run out of ammo. The trick is you have to hit them in order and you cannot proceed until you hit, i.e. you can't shoot #2 until you hit #1. The point is, I told him to look around and he could see all these big targets at 5 yds and less in the other lanes, he had been shooting at 2" circles at 7 yds. Wow! At least in Middle TN primers are everywhere, even Academy has them in stock, around $40/M.

I was in Columbia today, Steve's Gun and Archery had an 8# jug of Hodgdon's Clays for $169. Had some Red Dot also. Glad it's available, I just couldn't bring myself to buy yet. A few more days of Trap and Skeet and I will either have to pay up or quit. What is the powder picture like for you?

  I had heard that LW would do that no charge if asked, I have never had a problem with reloads in the .40-9 conversion, ymmv.

I went to the range on Saturday with my Ruger .22, shot about 300 rounds. It was the last of my .22 ammo, but I really enjoyed it. Since the .22 panic started I don't recall seeing anyone actually shooting the stuff, must be used as some kind of underground currency. But now I have a really pretty paperweight.

Was there some bad blood between them? Most try hards are on really good terms with the wardens.

If you are not going to carry, a full sized 4" or 6" revolver  in .38 spl would be my suggestion. Otherwise go Glock!

This is why I spent the morning casting, I can shoot centerfire cheaper. And it is much more fun too.

It was more a situation where I had time to kill and could not find components I wanted on line. Powder valley may have to reconsider changing the name.

Found some Win 231 today!!!! Just a pound but still, no 4#+ containers of any shotshell powders available but all primers were well stocked. Prices weren't terrible except for brass, priced like gold. If they would only keep business hours instead of hobby hours.
