  1. You should be able to find a very nice used Beretta that would work for that application for $1,000.00 or so.

    Small carry Handgun

My vote is for Ruger LCR. I have carried Kimbers, Smiths & Colts. The Ruger revolver is the lightest, easiest to carry personal defense weapon I have owned to date.
  3. Correct on the crescent arms. Crescent made a ton of these guns and sold them under different names/labels. They used to be referred to as "hardware shotguns" because all the local hardware stores sold them. They were "tools" back in those days, being used to put food on the table and I guess to shoot any unwanted varmits around the farm.
  4. Went on Saturday. This is a gun show? No beef jerkey? No army surplus junk? No jewelry? Just excellent displays of Parker shotguns, Colt SAA, old revolvers, shotguns and rifles? Very nice indeed.
  5. John Allen @ Game Fair Ltd. would be the person to talk to.
  6. **_ is Improved Cylinder choke ** is modified
  7. I have a Kimber Aegis that I use as my carry gun. I think its great. I replaced the pretty rosewood grips with a thin set of alumagrips which made it even more concealable. You should consider the Kimber.
  8. I have this Kimber myself. Its a delight to carry but I wouldnt exactly call it low recoil,,,,low compared to a .45 but it does have some recoil.
  9. They produced a ton of those rifles so collectibility is pretty limited to mint condition rifles. The green ones were the least produced (I think). Brown was produced more than green or black. So a brown one with missing parts and pitting wouldnt really be considered collectible. Now that doesnt mean it wouldnt bring alot more than it sold for new, it just means it isnt going to bring any high dollar amount. I like them alot!
  10. Sounds like a Model 190 if I were guessing. I have one that my dad bought for me about 40 years ago. It still shoots great. Depending on condition they ususally sell for around $150 if they are in good condition.
  11. Show was pretty bad. Really there was only one decent vendor there unless you like knives and such.
  12. Well for sure either a Colt, Kimber or S&W revolver. Just bought a S&W 629 with a 3" barrel a week ago. So I guess it will be a Colt.
  13. I like those Colt Pony's. Want to sell it?
  14. I love my Kimber 9MM Aegis II. I replaced the factory grips with a pair of Alumagrip thin models which makes it even a better carry weapon. Its a great little 9MM.
  15. I "think" its the same outfit that just had a show in Lenoir City a couple of weeks ago. And its at the Armory on Dalton Pike.
  16. Last year when I got mine we shot 50 rounds at several distances but can't recall what they were. I shot a brand new Kimber 9MM and didnt score that well. I think I scored like 85%. I didn't shoot any practice prior to qualifying and the room was full of both male and females. I didnt hear of anyone that failed but it was cold and raining and the course lasted from like 5 til 9 so I was ready to get out of there!
  17. Its not a .40 caliber, but I have a Kimber 9MM Aegis II that I put a set of Alumagrip tactical thin grips on. I love it! Lightweight for a 1911, very concealable and very shootable.
  18. Can't believe anyone hasn't mentioned Clint Eastwood movies. Magnum Force was on just the other night.
  19. Very sorry to read this. Prayers for you and your family.
  20. Anyone have any experience with or own an Anaconda with the camo finish and scope? I am looking to buy one if you know of any for sale. Thanks to all!

    KIMBER Question

I would pay $600 for a nice one!
  22. Mine was about 12 weeks as well! It seemed longer.
