  1. Wanted: Lever Action .357 Magnum I would like to add a .357 Magnum lever action to my collection. Models I would be interested in are Marlin 1894 or Rossi 92. Blue finish preferred 20” barrel preferred Smooth, uncheckered wood preferred Pre-safety would be a bonus (will consider the premium that comes with this) Non-Remington produced Marlins preferred Used is fine as long as it is in very good condition Within a reasonable distance from Nashville I am not in a hurry. I am not interested in paying retail. In order to avoid this turning into a long debate thread of one model vs. the other, let me know what you have via PM. PS - for the Marlin Collector, I have a Marlin 1894CL in .218 Bee (as new with box - would consider trading with brass and dies) I would consider trading for an as new pre-safety Marlin 1894 in .357 Magnum.
  2. The “bulge” mentioned above reminds me of an issue I ran into years ago. Some of the mixed range brass I picked up would produce a bulge in the case when using heavier bullets. I discovered that the cases in question had a ledge inside the case. I assume the manufacturer had the ledge to prevent bullet set-back under recoil. I separated that brand from my heavy 100 gr. Load and the issue went away. It my not be an issue with lighter bullets.
  3. I find myself shooting so I can reload. That’s how much I enjoy the reloading process. As mentioned above, get a good single stage press. Better yet, several manufacturers offer a “kit” with the basic tools you will eventually need. My recommendation is pursue casting your own projectiles later. After you get the basics of reloading better understood. I have loaded off and on for 30 years and never cast a bullet on my own. I’d like to try it after I retire. My opinion is it may be a little too much to become proficient with all at once. There are several sources out there for good cast bullets. It is good to see someone taking up this fun hobby. Be prepared. It can become an obsession.
  4. Unfortunately, I do not travel with work in that direction. About the closest I would get is Cookeville.
  5. I had not used the Bluetooth appt before. I loaded it tonight. It turns out there are 41 hours on it. I changed the oil after a couple of nights use and again tonight. I used the recommended oil.
  6. I always used non-ethanol gas and it never ran in the rain.
  7. My best guess is under 40 hours. It stayed in the sealed box the first 12-18 months I owned it. I only opened it when we had a power outage. It is in great shape.
  8. Honda Inverter EU2200 This is a great little generator I purchased to run my CPAP and sensitive electronics (Cable Modem, Wi-Fi Router, PC's, etc.). We installed a whole home generator and no longer have a need for this one. I purchased it new at Home Depot February 2021. With sales tax, it cost $1,255. I was unable to find a lower price anywhere. They do not seem to ever go on sale. If you are unfamiliar with these Honda products, they are wonderful. Almost a work of art. Easy to operate and very, very quiet. I only ran this one on the Eco Throttle Switch setting to power low demand items. I never ran it on anything demanding. I have another generator for refrigerators, etc. $XXXCash Let me know if you have any questions.
  9. For Sale - Centurion by Generac Power Systems 3,250 Running Watts Generator OHV Engine $175 $200 cash (updated 7/7) I purchased this slightly used and have used it a few times. It has never ran in the rain. It starts every time on the 1st or 2nd pull. I always run it out of fuel before I store it in my closed garage. We added a whole-house generator and no longer need this one. I am located between Franklin and Bellevue (Nashville area). I am not sure what I would trade it for: Perhaps good factory Pistol ammunition Partial trade on a Ruger Super Single-Six
  10. Kahr P380 - Matte Blackened Stainless Slide with 1 - 6 round and 1 - 7 round magazine (w/extended grip). I am not the original owner. There is some finish wear from being carried. Other than that, the gun is in very good shape. No box or manual. $350 cash (as of 07/07/2023) $375 cash $400 trade value I live between Franklin and Bellevue (Middle Tennessee) Buyer shows TN Drivers License and signs a bill-of-sale. Buyer must be legal to own a firearm. Established TGO Members preferred. Potential trades include: Ruger New Model Single-Six Open to other trades

  12. I’m impressed ammo is available. It makes the rifle that much more appealing
